- Note: I currently live in the US and most of the construction and design process took place in my absence. It is important to have someone you trust oversee the process if you're unable to!
When building a home on your own, mistakes might be inevitable. Here are some more mistakes I made building and also 1 bonus regret I had when it came to buying a house.

Love the editing and your approach towards your videos. The ending of this video had me when you were speaking about loans for cars and stuff "me a duck" 😭😭😭😭😭i was deatheth💀💀. So engaging and not like the others who just boring and speak patois witu little to no editing

One of the issues with the cabinets is that it shouldn't be placed above the window, I know this may have been done because of space, because you would have to be a tall person to reach it without a ladder. So the intension and the reality doesn't work in this instance. As i see it you could remove the middle cabinet and do a custom build there to level it off. While it maybe smaller it would look much better than what you have now.
I understand. I do prefer cabinets to go to the ceiling for a few reasons. Nonetheless, there’s no going back on anything, at least not in the immediate future; money finish so it has to be lol.
Yea, mistakes were made, but it was all a learning experience. I think a lot of us can relate, 'champagne taste on a beer budget'.
