Love watching your videos Matt. Had to watch this over a few times as I couldn’t find where you added the Angostura. Thing you may have edited it out in the final cuts. Not to worry, you do make a fantastic inspiration in learning the craft.
I've drank about a thousand of these and if you can get your hands on some fassionola syrup, use it in place of the passion fruit syrup. It really pairs well with the 151.
I recommend inviting a bartender from one of the local famous tiki bars over... that way, there could be some additional tips, tricks, and tales from behind the bar!!
Craig Rainbird thanks! Yeah, I'm not going out of my way to book guests, but they keep showing up at my house… So I'm gonna try to at least do every other week with a guest.
@@BreezewayCocktailHour Thanks Spike!!! Yeah, I've been watching other cocktail making channels and they've mentioned they get their pebble ice from Sonic.
Gianni Burrows you have 20 bucks for me so that I can get a tiny jar of those?? 😂 ...actually, I've been considering getting some, though the maraschino cherries were traditional to the era.
Gianni Burrows oh, I totally agree! But with the amount of calories already in each cocktail, I'm not munching on the little red sugar fruit that I use for decoration. 😂 yuck
Fun Video. Drink looked great too.

Awesome, thank you! Yeah, I think that was accidentally deleted in the edit. :/
Another great video brother 👍👍👍😎🍍🌴🍹🏖
Thank you so much!
Just ordered that book!
Nice!
Those old school tiki cocktails from the 1930's are where it's at. Nice wrist watch btw. Dig it!

Chris Frericks I do have some! I'll give it a try, thanks!
Made these on the weekend, was definitely a hit all round.
I recommend an olive spoon for the maraschino cherries. Since it's slotted, the syrup can drain back into the jar.
You should get Ruby Champagne in one of your videos.
Get thirsty every time I catch up on these videos.

Coming in two weeks 👌🏻
No girl so this was quick, but still good. I want to see delicious cocktails being made. Having a guest is a great way to go.👍🏻👍🏻

Bring Kelly Slater on to celebrate his retirement! - Making this one this evening for a hot tub session. Thanks, Matt.
If you can get him to my house, I'd love to have him on 😂
Oh you add more ice to fill up that space...... I generally just make a half serving more of drink to top off that space lmao
Love that ice bucket!
You got a workout but it looks well worth the effort.
Where you get your shirts
Vintage stores, Etsy, eBay...
Nice shirt.
How about inviting Miss Tiki Oasis 2019, Phoenix A’Blaze!! 🗿🌴🌴before TikiO or after. very cool.
So would you order it?
Mike Penhall I would!
This looks so good! I gotta try it. This might be a dumb question but what is that glass called? I've been looking for some like it.
I was wondering how long it would take you to realize you forgot the bitters! Great video, love the snake garnish.
DLWendy8 Hahahhaa... yup. 🤷🏻♂️
Inside the Desert Oasis Room swap cast with our buddy Adrian! 🎙🗿🍹
Hey Spike,
You mentioned that you purchase your pebble ice at Sonic. Is that Sonic the burger joint or is this an ice company???
Sonny Soto sonic the burger joint! Just ask for a bag of ice. They'll know what to do!
@@BreezewayCocktailHour Thanks Spike!!!

I’d recommend Luxardo maraschino cherries over the banana split maraschino cherries.

The Hula Girls 😂 they are a bit expensive, but taste so much better. The traditional ones taste like cough syrup to me!
