    Enjoy your videos, new sub here. Work at a HD Dealership, P&A guy here. On my '23 Road Glide ST: was running SE Street Cannons (stock headpipe); now running S&S 2-1 Sidewinder (race version)w/db reducer installed. On my '23 Breakout, currently running SE Street Cannons, but am planning on a Freedom Exhaust short 2-1 w/side dump. On my '09 FXSTC (96 c.i., now 107 c.i.), running Bassani 2-1 long system. On my '04 Sportster XL883C (1200 top end kit), Carburated running V&H 2-2 Drag Pipes (race vetsion). Currently gathering parts to build the RG-ST from stock 117 (Stage1) to 120 c.i. Stage4 level (not SE parts), and the Breakout-117 (stock, Stage1) to a 132 c.i. with Heads & Darkhorse bottom end, etc., etc., etc.

    Hey Sean.
    Nice video I run 4.5 chrome works on my 09 Road king 👑. she sounds nice and deep I like the way they sell. That install you just did they sound good as well. I’m that guy that asked you about my gas mileage about three weeks ago. You were right I’ve been having a heavy, throttle hand getting 28 miles per gallon. I just did a group ride this past weekend where I roll the normal speed and got 38 miles to the gallon. I guess Riding 75/80mph everywhere I go, doesn’t help my gas MPG. I am still monitoring it.
    But 38MPG Has been the best mileage I’ve gotten on his bike as long as I’ve had it. Thank you for your advice. I actually need a new bike but don’t want a Payment That’s why I have this 09 Still.

    Hi, I’m installing the Street Cannons, and have a couple questions. 1) Should the axel nut be in the center of the indentations on the mufflers? With the muffler mounts centered, and the muffler screw holes lined up with the mounting holes the axel is near the end of the indentations. 2)Using the stock 13” shocks do you know how much clearance is needed from the muffler to the axel or shock? How much downward travel does the swing arm have?
    Thanks for taking time to make the video.

    • @VtwinRevolution
      @VtwinRevolution  22 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      The axle doesn’t have to necessarily be in the center of the indentions….i generally try to keep the muffler bracket centered and let the indentions fall where they are. Also the 4 1/2” street cannons are CLOSE to the swing arm, like almost touching and sometimes do touch. I recommend going with the 4” to be honest.
      So with the bike on the side stand that’s when your suspension will be fully unloaded but when you sit with a passenger depending on both of yalls weight you should have a pretty good gap between the swingarm and the mufflers and the amount of travel downward isn’t enough for them to make contact unless your hitting jumps lol

    • @VtwinRevolution
      @VtwinRevolution  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, the very first dealership I worked at was the reason for a lot of things Harley implemented back in the early to mid 2000’s. Like the 95” kit on TC and the very reason v-rod went from a 1125 to a 1250 the owner was HEAVY into racing and developed that stuff then Harley took notice.

  • @NigelMellor
    @NigelMellor 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    I watched Million Dollar Bogan install TAB slip ons on his CVO ST. He showed that it required gaskets between the muffler and the head pipes. When I installed my S&S MK45's on my 2024 Road Glide there were no gaskets that I noticed. Could this just be because he is using American slip ons on an Australian bike?

    • @VtwinRevolution
      @VtwinRevolution  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      So, I had to look up what you’re talking about and found the video. That is an HDI bike ( international) they have much different regulations. And I’m sure that gasket is makes up the gap cause yes those are American mufflers

    Do you have to add the screaming eagle tuner when you install slip ons?

    • @VtwinRevolution
      @VtwinRevolution  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Negative ghost rider….the only time you need to add a tuner is when you change the air cleaner setup

    • @VtwinRevolution
      @VtwinRevolution  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is also an exception to that rule as well lol, if your bike came stock with a SE style breather kit and you install mufflers….you DO NOT need a tuner, the bike is already compensating for the better flowing air cleaner. If you slide over and check out the stage1 vs. stage 2 video I talk about it there
