This isn’t exclusive to the sneaker community. I’m into video game collecting and it’s very similar out here, TH-camrs and collectors like to flex the rare expensive games even if they’re not that good just to look “cool”. Unfortunately that’s just how some people are.
Same with sports cards. Been collecting since 1988, and it's all about reselling graded high priced cards. It's not for the love of collecting. It's about money and flaunting the "fancy" cards.

Did the same with a few others like the what tha fs, winterized 4s, FIBA 4s etc and wqs able to trade for fire joints that i wanted.🤷🏾♂️ Go with your gut and not the wave

People hating on the craft 5s and I have put them with dope button ups and fitted caps and get plenty of comps on the sneaks. To me the most slept on shoe really this year is the true blue 1s. Bro women love them kicks with a dope fit.

I got my pair of Winterized 4s that first year covid began. Got them that April online when everything officially shut down through Hibbett when they had a fire sale on them for $80 something plus tax. Way under retail. The red FIBA pairs were going for under $80. Times have changed!

I hate hypebeasts and resellers. Yeah, that's a strong word. I wear all my shoes. Been in the game since '93. I'm the type of sneakerhead who doesn't give a damn about getting creases, scuffs, a little dirt, etc. I never wait a year to wear shoes I copped the year before. They won't last forever. I wish every resale store we see in malls and outlets loose business and shut down forever. It's F'in sad seeing people walking in buying from those overpriced, high taxing leeches when they can get these shoes for retail putting in the effort and footwork. But they don't know any better. SMH!

I get shoes that I like no matter the resell price. I bought every Jordan 1 high this year because I like them. I'm glad they are going for under retail because I will want to go back later and double up on some of them. Ion the future I hope all the hype beasts let these Jordan 1s sit so I can cop. In a few years everyone will say damn I wish I copped those for retail when they came out. But to each their own if they only want to wear hype shoes let them.

UNC Toe looks so much better in hand and on feet than the obsidian one. If this UNC toe came 2-3 years earlier this shoe would skyrocket to 600-700 dollar, glad i copped my pair today, one of the best AJ1 colour blocking pair in the last years.

They are beautiful, well crafted, and buttery. I also love 13’s. I hardly ever see people rocking 13’s but I wear them 2-3 times per week.
