  • What are the chances that that I found these rare Air Jordan's from 1985? They're still in great condition. I got the pair for $15! What a crazy deal. Am I able to restore them and bring them back to life?

    I should post my video about how I found a mint Lamborghini Miura at the local car auction for $500.00. I only had 3 dollars in my bank account but the $532.00 overdraft fee was worth it. The rubber on the tires was from 1968 , was the hardest tire swap I ever done. 60s Italian rubber was god tier. Since I just happen to be a Lamborghini Miura restoration specialist I will post a video of the whole restoration. This was not a staged event at all.

    Wayyyyy back in the day, a kid i went to school with, hus brother worked at Chicago stadium when Jordan first started playing. He was an original Jordan fanboy. Shoes, wrist bands, pants. Everything you could buy in the mid 80s. One day his brother broght him home a pair the Michael Jordan had signed for him. Last i actually SAW those shoes was circa 1987 maybe....i wonder where they are now.

    Great job! This is the first I’ve seen a sneaker broken down and worked on like that. I think it’s a great enhancement, but, does replacing the original sole devalue the sneaker?

    • @WizardingPa
      @WizardingPa 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      it does of course! but it's impossible to use as they're 30 year old shoes, sole will start to crumble and destroy itself. doing this process makes it wearable and usable, and probably a amazing decoration too.
      as you said, it devalues too, you choose!

    Man, there's something about a worn in pair of Jordan 1 Chicago's that really do it for me, I think 1's look great with some wear & tear, but any other Jordan I like to see in good shape it, like I couldn't wear a beat up pair of 3's 4's etc
    Mad really.

    In Korean, "The best quality!" " That's what it says. Made in Korea.
    In 1985, a sample version of the Jordan 1 Hi Chicago model for athletes was produced by Korea's international trading company and Tong Yang Rubber and delivered to Nike. The Chicago model for athletes produced in Korea at the time is said to be of high quality enough to be worn even now.
    Currently, Korea's labor costs are so high that Nike has no choice but to move its production plant to a relatively inexpensive Southeast Asian region in consideration of labor costs. By transferring Korean technology overseas, it is manufactured at current factories in Vietnam and China. However, sampling models are still often manufactured in Korea.
