Thanks Dave. Bernie Marsden was the first rock guitarist I ever got to see playing live, when he was briefly a member of Wild Turkey (ca. 1973) playing in a dual-lead set up with Mick Dyche. Looking back, I now realise he must only have been about 22 years of age at the time! Needless to say he was great. As are you, by the way.
Dave-there are so many gifted guitarists like Jimi, etc. but I can’t think of any who literally play from their soul. When you feel something and put the feelings to music 🎶 you surpass everyone ✅. I have a superb ear that hears things often beyond the music itself and of all the musicians I’ve listened to during my life you are the most soulful and emotive of them all. I know there is something down deep that is very depressing for you and it comes and goes. So many of us have the same thing but not many of us can begin to get the beauty of the feeling, good and bad, out for others to experience. You often merge with the Music Of The Spheres. You’re mind boggling. Thank you for sharing your soul and music 🎶 with us. 👍☮️🌞🎸🩵🎵

Whitesnake were never the same when Bernie and the rest of the band from the Live in the heat of the city era were replaced by pretty boy. I can’t listen to the later music as Whitesnake were Bernie, mickey, Jon, Ian Neal and David. I saw them so many times in the 80’s and Bernie was the all the soul and . the elements that made them a top band.I’ll o feeling and deep inner beauty in his style. God bless Bernie. Coverdale made one massive error n’en you left the band.
