man i really miss mixer. it was so easy to use and easy to get used to not to mention you could stream straight from the xbox overlay instead of switching to the app, going to broadcast and then pressing “start broadcast”
They need to do what the ps4 does.. allow to stream/edit and upload to TH-cam rather than this trash platform.. I honestly don't know why when they have all the tools they chose not too

As far as I know when you stream from the console, your friends have to opt in to share their audio. It's automatic with your audio, but not with those with you unless they share theirs. At least that's what I've seen when in a party. I'm not sure about in game chat since I tend to stay out of that haha

Before reaching affiliate your bitrate is limited in twitch meaning you can't really stream at 1080p, I mean it will let you but you will get consistent frame drops and the stream will change resolutions as your internet speeds vary. Stick to 720p.

On my Series X I’ve streaming using the Twitch app for a week or so and have been trying out Lightstream today too... unfortunately most streams encounter problems.If I have my mic, webcam and party chat all going with the stream in 1080p with the automatically detected 6500 bit rate then it’s nothing but crashes after a few minutes, sometimes it’s just one thing that goes off, be that my webcam, or the game volume just vanishes, but more often than not the twitch overlay vanishes, so I go back to the twitch app to find that the stream has stopped... It’s like it can’t take everything at once, especially party chat which I had huge issues getting working initially. My last stream eventually got going for 2 hours, but I turned off webcam, swapped back to twitch rather than Lightstream, lowered res to 720p and bit rate to 5500 and it was fine but it’s just annoying as I shouldn’t have to make all these changes, just seems the app is flawed

Hi, there, I actually had a question about recording/streaming the Xbox home screen and navigating the menus, settings etc, as you’re doing for this tutorial, and being able to capture all of that stuff, not game play. If I wanted to do that directly from the Xbox console is that possible? Or are you streaming your Xbox to your PC via the Xbox Companion App and then recording this tutorial via your PC? Lastly, is it possible to share your xbox home screen/menus/settings etc and do this live, rather than via a recording, without using the Xbox companion to stream to your PC (if that’s how you capture the video for this tutorial)? The only way I’ve seen, where I assume it would be possible to do this, would be via Twitch or Discord from the Xbox console, and sharing the Xbox home screen etc using one of those apps?

Lightstream is still requiring updates to the twitch system from Xbox according to the lightstream team. Whenever I try to use it, no game image shows and drops out in 40 seconds. Are y'all saying this has been fixed?

I did all these steps to stream Halo Infinite from my Series X. My partner checked my stream on Twitch and it didn’t show any video or audio, only an “away” screen. Why won’t Twitch steam my gameplay?
No need for capture card, use a pc the connects the same internet as Xbox(it doesn't have to be a powerful pc) download xbox companion app, stream xbox to pc and upload the pc footage to yt.
I've been having a hard time trying to livestream from my xbox using twitch. It record all except chat voice. Can you help me with the setup? I have and xbox one X. Chat audio output is in headset and speakers. Twitch settings with no mute in chat volume settings. I'm no sure what other adjustment I need. If you can guide me it will be great.

So has Twitch app finally been updated so it CAN use any USB webcam. It would only work with the Kinect a few months ago

I’m still not sure why this issue is still happening. I literally haven’t steamed any war zone game footage because of this issue.

Odd how we are watching these videos on an application that the xbox doesn't let us stream to.
