You can play that game normally on your TV/Xbox with this method still, this method allows you to use OBS to stream which allows you WAY more control over your stream :D

@@CpawsMusic So if you’re playing on a regular tv then change your display setting resolution from 720p to 1080p on your xbox settings. I did this and the game appeared on my laptop with audio as well.
How is input delay determined? Is it possible to reduce it? Could I theoretically have it pass through to pc but still play through xbox to stream it but play with no delay?

So, the scenario is starting remote play on monitor 1, then changing the input on monitor 1 to HDMI 1 rather than DP. Thus, playing on the console directly without input delay, while also having the remote play running for OBS?
so when you do a window capture, can’t you just click on the obs program -so that you can still manually control scenes on one monitor? while it is capturing the window? and not necessarily the program. or am i mistaking window for tab lol

So currently when i stream fortnite to twitch from my series X and play in a squad with people on pc and ps5, the stream does not capture there game chat voice, only mine. Will connecting my laptop and using OBS fix that issue and allow me to stream all of our game chat voices? Because everyone is telling me the only way to fix the issue is to buy an elgato capture card… but if i do what your doing in this video, will it work without a capture card? Thanks

@@mattsolidfr I'd recommend using your mic with your computer instead if you can, I think you should be able to join the party chat via that xbox app but I haven't tried it myself so I can't say for sure. I'm sure there's a way to do it, but I just don't know it right now haha - optionally you could use a 2nd mic plugged into your pc just for your stream audio in obs

I'd recommend using a capture card when possible, not sure about the remote play for prox chat though, obs can use 2 mics at the same time but you wouldn't need both if you're already using one :D

I have a BIG issue, please help me! I’ve just started to stream using my Xbox series x with the cam plugged in the Xbox, I stream to twitch with the Logitech hd1080p web cam and the video quality is terrible, I’m over exposed and no matter what I do with my stream lights, the over exposure is the same. I have a predator gaming laptop and plugged the webcam in there and the quality is amazing, no need for my stream lights. So I followed instructions to remote play the Xbox to the pc to share my game play and have my cam on. I load my game up to start my stream and it won’t let me start streaming.. all settings are set to be able to share the game play. Do I need a capture card to have my webcam on my pc streaming me and the gameplay? 🥺🥺🥺
Very weird, should be as simple as we do in the video - with the webcam connected to your laptop and added into obs as a video capture device source and then the game footage added as we do in the vid 🤔
@@CpawsMusic I fixed it. Then bought a capture card and mucked it all up. My game audio sounds like a robot, my voice is fine. I couldn’t fix it :( Streaming is hard lmao
Seems to be a common problem with the Elgato hd60 x. My issue now is that my game sound is distorted. Mic is fine and have solved the robot voice. But upon further investigation, most people have the issue of distorted game audio. Please sir, do you have a fix? 🥺
How do you fix the “click on screen to play”??? Every time I go to stream labs the screen freezes and dims with that message. I have to stay on screen and can’t see chat. Any fix?

I'd recommend using an ethernet cord to connect both your xbox and computer to the same router
If you don’t have your wifi router or modem look into getting deco. You can put as many as you want thru out the house.

You can lock the Xbox play screen so you can open manager to see chat and stuff and the stream will still show the game

there might be a very minor delay but can't say for certain
Switch your hdmi and play directly off you Xbox and not the screenplay then it will feel like normal while your stream runs

If you're using 1 monitor, you'll want to keep the game as the primary until you get 2 monitors

it seems it may just be a xbox status issue, if in a couple hours or days when xbox status is fine and it doesnt work, there may be something i missed
