  • Grass Splash pad??? In this video we do a full install, BEFORE & AFTER, so you can see the entire process of the Gopher Geyser SplashPad Kit.
    www.gophergeyse...
    The diy splash pad kit comes with a control board, wireless controller, water proof case and 8 or 16 heads. The rest of the parts will need to be purchased by your local sprinkler store. This allows you to put the splash pad where ever you want with zero restrictions.
    The Gopher Geyser splash pad is on a 20 minute timer and comes with wireless on / off controller. It can also be hooked up to a wireless smart controller for your electrical outlet.

    Jared, what's the best watering strategy for KBG in our Utah climate at this time of the year? Didn't water in October with the rains and still retaining at least 4"-8" in the soil. But under a Ponderosa pine tree which shields much of the rain from the turf, the soil is showing about 2" of moisture with a screwdriver. I spot watered only one small area under the tree where it was showing stress. But I left the rest of the soil under the tree with only 2" of moisture because it doesn't show signs of stress yet. Will leaving that soil dry encourage deeper roots in those areas or is it best to maintain more than that 2" of soil moisture even with cool autumn temperatures? Thanks

    • @pestandlawnginja
      @pestandlawnginja  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I only focus on not letting the soil dry out. I'm watering once every 2 weeks with these temps and rain.

    If a main breaks you going to have a hard time fixing it without breaking the adjacent pipes. More digging but should have trenched wider and separated the pipes. Im a journeyman plumber.

    • @pestandlawnginja
      @pestandlawnginja  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The main is off the off the sidewalk before the back flow. Everything installed is after the backflow preventer

      @@pestandlawnginja i mean the lines coming out of the valves. They branch to several heads each. That makes them like a main irrigation line. The main potable water supply is the single line up to the irrigation valves. Im just bustin your chops. Still waiting for you to do a buffalo grass test plot.

    Totally unrelated to the delightful water feature, I have about 1800²ft I need to eradicate centipede grass from. Now, my lawnmower man (and I use the term in the most Jeff Fahey way imaginable) claims it's Bermuda, but I disagree. Either way, I need to get this crap out of the dirt...how? Short of removing the top 10", I'm not sure how. Help?
