I clicked because of fruit tress in a pot. But I really loved when he was talking about God.

Hi I’m from New York City. In what town of Orlando you can have this size of property and be able to grow fruit trees.
I will retire in few years and planning to move to Florida.

@thehuttonstripping That is so sad because you are not the only person to say this. The last time I was there was in 2019 and the mango trees in my father yard was so full and fruits were on the ground and there was no kids running around picking fruits.

I agree with the above comments.
The government is focused on the "oil wealth" and not agriculture or human resource.
It'a a crying shame for us who have no choice but to stay here and observe helplessly.
      We forgot our original plan:

That bitter vines is called bitter melon .I dry the leaves and it’s my tea.Supplement for diabetic meds. Also very good to eat with mongo and boil it and squeeze the juice and drink the juice as tea and leaves wash it again after pressing the juice and sqeeze again then add cacophony tomatoes add salted fish sauce or just salt. Very good for your body.

Mulberry Leaves are great for diabetes. My grandmother used to boil the dried leaves. I saw her do that when I was 12 yrs old. I'm 37 and I love plants. I do a lot of research. Mostly from medical journals. I believe in getting accurate information. Do some research on it. She did well with it.

Absolutely loved watching this man talk about his garden
Got an idea for this man about watering his pots when he is away .just fill a bottle with water and put a small hole in the cap ,turn it upside down. It will slowly drip into the soil and buys you time to be away for a little while longer.

Loved this tour! Pastor Kevin is great! All the references to the word "garden" in the Bible was a kind of revelation to me. Makes me realize I should be praying and have a spirit of thankfulness in the garden. I have a Pickering about 10 or 12 years old and Nam Doc Mai maybe 8 years old. Both are about 12 feet. The harvest is insane every year! The Pickering is my favorite, I thought it was the absolute best Mango; now I realize I want to try maybe an Ice Cream or Pina Colada or Peach Cobbler. The enthusiasm you both have is infectious!! Thank you so much!!

Thank you Pastor Kevin for addressing the topic of root rot. I'm in Northern California, so a completely different climate than Florida and even Southern California, but I wasn't watering my mango trees properly because I was afraid of the supposed root rot people were talking about when it comes to mangoes.
My mango tree is in the ground but it wasn't thriving and then a few weeks ago I left my water hose on top of the soil near it and that hose has a small leak/drip.
The next morning it sprouted new leaves so I think I wasn't giving it the water it needed because everyone kept saying it doesn't do well in clay soil and it would struggle and the roots would eventually die.
So far it keeps pushing new growth so I'm going to doing what seems to be working so far.
The mango I had in a container died and I belive that was because I didn't give it enough water. I was afraid of root rot so I tried not to overdo it and I wound up not doing enough.
I can't find mangoes where I live for less than $350 per container so I can only buy them when I travel to see family.
Thanks for your insight in this video...and that purple and gold are our church colors as well.
    Acts 2:38

    • @TuansReef
      @TuansReef ปีที่แล้ว

Root rot is primarily caused by blending in compost into the pot rather than just putting it on top. If you use sand, pumice and peat your plants wont rot. Decomposing compost next to the roots creates anaerobic environment killing the roots.

You mentioned something about neem for your garden. I have the neem tree as as I was reading about its properties, the neem does not kill bugs, neem sterilize the bugs so they will not reproduce the next year. Also for people who eat neem, it can also sterilize a women who wants to have baby. Do not spray neem on flowers so the beneficial bug can reproduce. Well I guess you know that part. Neem has alot of good stuff . I enjoy your teaching of plants and of God. Be fruitful and multiply. God bless you and yours.

This is so heartwarming and inspiring. Thank you. I’m in Pennsylvania and know my mango seedlings 🌱 won’t last but love growing peaches, apples, pears, etc… ❤
