Colt is the coolest and most humble guy. He gave me a pair of his tech 10s, four pairs of pants, four pairs of gloves, a pair of 100 percent goggles, and a lot of monster stuff last year because mine were ripped and I couldn’t afford to get new gear. Loved watching him win this title and will always be rooting for him through his career!
Love your riding, style and story. Be sure to help those who helped you get to this mountain top. Good interview Gypsy. Good luck in the outdoors COLT. "BRING IT"!
The last story of this caliber as far as trying to land on a team was Dungey landing at rockstar Makita Suzuki he followed DeCoster and them around forever trying to get on their team Roger watched him and signed him
It’s amazing how the amateur tanks feed the pros and the differing results and peaks these guys reach. This guy was absolutely sick on the 595 Kawasaki back in the day.
I'm from Arkansas and have known colt and his dad as long as I can remember I just saw his dad at are local track just being a normal dude..anytime colt comes back to Oklahoma he tries to come to ascot Park mx and show some love...much respect
Wish they would put stuff like this on the broadcast... Thanks Jace for the content! Not many places for these guys to get their stories out to the hardcore to casuals. Glad your at the helm!
Love Colt man, he's without a doubt one of my favorite riders. so glad he got the championship, one of the coolest most laid back mellow dudes in the pits.
Jade, first off you’re killing it. Keep grinding. This content is awesome. Second, this is kind of a wild thought I had and idk if you read these comments... but I think it would be cool if you were able to get yourself booked as a guest on Joe Rogan. You guys already have BJJ in common, and also podcasting. I think he’d really like your story too. Anyone who goes on his show gets a huge spotlight on their cause. I think this could potentially get some eyes on moto, and get more people interested. Our sport needs it. This could also open up the doorway to maybe even getting riders on JRE and expanding awareness that our amazing sport exists and gets more people to love for bikes. Great work and keep it up!!
That’s borderline stalking but I get it… I would do the same if the time was present! Reminds me of the Dungee stalking story 😂👍🏻 hey whatever gets there attention!
Sick video! Colt is awesome dude.. Question I'm confused did he fly to Aus. Just to do interview with you or are you in states? I guess I don't understand completely where these interviews go down? Anyways sick Content love it Bro keep it up

Probably not on video...Jase said the full videos on Youbue mess up the algorithm and they dont get the ad support etc. He would if he could. I wish they did too. I'd rather watch than just listen
If I was fast enough to get in front of Cooper Webb or a C and then pull away from them of course I’m gonna get signed if not you’d have to be crazy to not sign somebody that’s not fast.
The sad part is these teams make it a point to make it about business and business only , it won’t be long until that Yamaha team drops him like a bad habit, it may be 3-5 years but it’ll happen..... he is a good salesman that’s EXACTLY why Bobby hired him, Bobby owns banks and auto dealerships, both of those run 🏃♂️ on salesman mentality....and colt made every effort to sell himself which is what a salesman does , you sell yourself not the product
Why is it so hard to find a legit individuals to interview these guys? This guy sounds and acts like a pot head, no wonder Wygant seems so great around clowns like this.
@@GYPSYTALES I might, but I wont be dropping F bombs every ten seconds and try to be relevant by adopting perceived mx slang, you can be informative without being obnoxious.

Class act, 👊
That says it all there in you comment, cool 😎
What a g
I did not know his story. He knew he was a champ, he just needed the resources and opportunity to prove it.
Mad respect for Colt, my first time hearing this story!
Remember him on Monster Kawasaki way back on AMs, always wished this kid the best. Such a humble and hard worker. Keep it going Colt 👏🏻
That's a hustler mentality , if you know you got it go out and prove that shit ⛽🙌🏾

It would be sweet to hear that he gave something back to the guy who had his back when he was struggling
Super nice. Spoke to my family and I for several minutes before 2019 A1 then went on to win it. Been a huge fan ever since.
The last story of this caliber as far as trying to land on a team was Dungey landing at rockstar Makita Suzuki he followed DeCoster and them around forever trying to get on their team Roger watched him and signed him
Yep never raced A class in Ams, went from B class straight to pro license.
All because Roger took some time out of his day to watch Ryan while they were working with Ricky.
Villopoto 's dad did that with RV on 60s with kawi

That's the difference between a self-made success versus a child star from from money and connections.
That's a rad story, Colt's fast becoming one of my favourite riders
Okie from Muskogee sent star Yamaha smoke signals! Needless to say they got Fire congratulations Colt!
g shit str8 up turning up to the track to whip factory riders then end up geting a ride lege
so gnarly aye
Sweet to give props to the people who got you where you're at now - liked the Reynard story and their generosity towards you.
How can you not like Colt Nichols? I hope he has a great career, 450s and all!
Fuck yea jq,
Cuz he’s competing with kids 10 years younger then him with a full beard...win a title on a big bike and I’ll like him
Massive fan!!!
Amazing story!!!
Hard working champ!!!

Fully the best story on the internet.
And that’s manifestation for you! Awesome video!

Noted. Going toy local track and proving myself lol.
Good luck.
@@underthegun5799 Thanks!
Started following him when I saw him throwing his leg out on some whips. Champ now 👌
Wondering if he went back and gave Robbie and his wife some of that sugar? Hope so. Great story and he’s got a new fan.
Always been a fan of this guy. Also won me 50 bucks as my dark horse for the title
It would be nice to find out that he gave a portion of his championship check to Robbie to put towards his race program
It's not near as much $ as you would think
Yamaha is as reliable as any brand I’ve ever ridden and the 250F handled great
I’d love to see Stew Baylor from GNCC on this show

What a rad story!
Sick story.
Good on ya mate
Would make a sick movie
Such a fuckin classic story.
Colt your the shit.....
That’s amazing
Is there anywhere we can watch the full interview with video? Spotify and apple only have the audio

Not being a kid that had it all laid out for him made him hungry and the hungry guy is dangerous.
The hungry guy has to try his hardest and it will pay off!!!
Your comment says it all!
Colt Nichols 4 life
How many people will jump in front of him now 😂 Cool story!!
That’s so sick!
Respect
what brand is the hat hes wearing?
Far legend thats a dope way to get it
That's some straight G shit
THATS SOME G SHIT RIGHT THERE!
Why is he racing in the lights class still?
Injuries/no rides early in his career
That’s the question everyone has and he doesn’t have a good answer anymore...he needs to move up now.
Its like being that sneaky undersized 13 year old still in the 50cc class!
AWESOME
The man
"It's inane."
love ya jase ;)
@GypsyTales: What is the guy in the intro thing saying? I'm at a gypsy? Anyone please tell me. Lol

"I wasn't going to go somewhere else over $50k."
How much these guys getting paid?
My best guess would be a few hundred k for a 250 championship but honestly idk
They get paid a lot
@@jonathanschultz3629 Def not compared to other sports. Alot more money could be made but Feld is greedy
Being a racer in the late 90’s would be one of the best times to make a steady paycheck from racing
From what I’ve heard 250 championship bonus can be up to 500k depending on the team/manufacturer. 50k race win bonus I think.
Pathetic any athlete that races on a pro level doesn't receive a living wage and is forced to couch surf.
bs their motor is amazing, but they cant handle to save their life when stock
A supercross champ says different.
@@chaseeason6789 Highly doubt the bikes are near the level of stock as OP said.
Suspension prob sucks for a C rider.
@@underthegun5799 not a Yamaha fan, but your wrong on the suspension, they have the best production suspension...
I think you mean the 450s I’d agree but the 250s handle great
Weak field and the two top contenders out left it easy pickings, the only reason he won the title, and his last.

Unplugged and unscripted. Love it with the unrestricted commentary feels authentic.
