- This one-eyed epic force of nature is easily one of the heaviest waves in the world. Located east of Esperance in the remote south east coast of Western Australia, CYCLOPS wave is a force to be reckoned with. Lucky Bay Brewing has created an award winning beer inspired by CYCLOPS - an India Pale Ale, like the legend wave with enormous, explosive power holding up a strong wall of flavour, ramped up hops and a dry bitter finish. ThIs is the story of Cyclops, the wave, and the beer... EVERY BEER HAS A STORY.
Coming from the heart of the barley producing region in Western Australia's south east, Esperance's Lucky Bay Brewing is part of the local farming community. Being local we select the season’s best produce from local farmers, use no preservatives and fresh rain water to create award winning brews you will want to savour to the last drop, just like our local beaches.
We respectfully acknowledge the Kepa Kurl Wudjari people, part of the Nyungar Nation. Whose Country this was filmed on. Always was, Always will be.

Absolutely incredible, nobody's filmed cyclops from these angles. How does this not have more views? Thanks for this
Agreed so sick
Music is pretty good! Aussies Def have their shit together with adventure camping and what not!
I first heard of Cyclops in the 90's - somehow associated it with that wave off Midnight Oil's album cover. Always super mysterious to me. Great stuff guys !
Cyclops .. ? .. nooo psycho-lops !! Concave, sub-sea level dry reef drainer .. half a galaxy from medical attention n another human !! Really cool vid !! Mahalos from the Pacific Northwest !!
I only heard about this break once back in tha days of Tom Carroll while sweeping thru the pages of Surfing Mag in the early 90's...., finally I see is reel.
Beautiful area!
Great vid. Thanks.

Beautiful.. 🍀🤙🌊
Great show, great message .thanks
Brilliant production, camera work and editing of a fabulous place and adventure! It would be amazing to swim into the impact zone just off the reef and film it in slo mo! Love the whale and dolphin shots and the snake scene with no shoes on is just pure gold!
Local Esperance boy here! Loved the vid and love the beer! Figure it 8 is my fave
Epic vid , will be heading down to check it out shortly , have to stop by and try your beers
Respect, thanks for posting. Regards Alan in Raglan NZ
There's no where we can tread on this planet that hasn't been walked on before, thanks
this is the coolest Cyclops flick I've ever seen! that helmet Chris wears is the real thing not a fake plastic one too
Keeping an eye out for you, that's from Cyndi, with an eye!
Do the police there police the waves too? Besides that tho this is truly an amazing place and one of the most daunting waves in the world..
👍🙏
i love the fact you freehandle a dugite in the middle of no where and not 1 comment from anyone on how bad a snake is.
I came to the comments specifically to post that picking up and playing with that dugite snake is nuts. They’re so venomous, what he did is super dangerous.
@@jestrada123 yeah its highly venomous but as you can see the fella holding the snake is quite calm and constantly reading the body language of that dugite and has some what handled for more then just the filming of the vid. id be more worried about surfingthen getting nailed off the dugite but its definetley something i dont reccomend many people doing
I think once i found out it was the cheese grater that would have been it
Needs more swell
A pale ale .. when the wave looks like head down strong lager ..
