Adding weight and power will always add more risk in terms of potential for catastrophic injury. So, sure..with his insane talent, he could do it. But it'd still be a bad choice because he's still just a kid with a lot to learn and physiological maturity levels that are working against his cognitive decision making process.

I put money on it that we will never see another rider as succesful (stat wise) like Ricky - Ricky was ahead of him time as for training, etc.. we all know the story, but now every single rider copied Ricky including Amatuers. We got super talented kids coming up every year. In a few more years both classes will be full of top amatuer kids that were predicted to be winners. Imagine a full gate of past Loretta Lynn champions... There wont be enough factory rides to support the talent. We may start to see privateers start winning moto's - because everyone is so good. Like Marchbanks is perfect example and Coty Schock... both great riders that can win, but not on a factory team. We're starting to get a taste of whats to come already with the 450 and 250 class with multiple riders winning moto's. We will have new "Jetts" coming in every year. Lets say Haiden Deegan is coming up next for example... its crazy if you really think about it hahahaa

Anybody that actually listens to Main Event Moto knows that DB makes wild predictions that don’t usually happen. That’s one of my favorite podcasts and he’s not right all time. I suggest everyone check out Main Event Moto with RacerX. It’s a Really good and funny at times podcast.

Jett almost looks like he's just doing a sighting lap or slacking off and still going faster than anyone else in his group.

Jett is just a good rider
This guy is elevating him a bit too much
I have not seen what you see on him
All and all Jett performance next season
Remains to be seen (lots of things can happen between now and then)
There are plenty of extraordinary riders on the 450 class
Good luck to Jett and his team

Now onto next year to defend his 250 title SX , his first 450 MX season and super motocross, 2023 is going to be interesting how it goes hope he stays fit and healhy. He is a talent for shaw.

Jett will be the reason everyone knows about supercross you already see people from other sports recognizing him just wait until he starts dominating while being calm and having fun like a 2017 2018 Jason Anderson

I am tired of all this hype with Jett, give the kid a break, there are so many expectations this kind of reminds me of James Stewart, James could’ve won so many more championships but I think all the ones he didn’t was cause there was so much expectations on him to win, he was expected to win all the time and that ruined it for him. He never learnt the important lesson of taking second!
Look at Jeffrey Herlings, look at Adam Cianciarulo, look at Mike Alessi and so on, Who would of thought that Cairoli would be 8 times champion when he did his first year pro, he could barely get qualified or who would have thought that Villopoto would be overlapping Alessi on a daily basis, What about Webb? All eyes where on Cianciarulo so please stop your predictions, there are many riders out there that are maybe invisible today but will probably surprise you in a few years!

Until fame pays (way) better than dirtbike racing -- Jet will kick everyone in the number plate. Hopefully his body will be intact when being a "Former Dirtbike Champion turned [not dirbike racer-job]" is how people introduce him.
Imagene: Jet selling Japanese whisky to the Japanese, in Japanese. Or a reverse mortgage to senile pensioners. Maybe Quantas Airline tickets or shares of Gulfstream to investors. That'll be hilarious. Go Jet.

I wonder if Jett has talked to McGrath at all. It would be useful for him to sit down with the King and just learn how Jeremy did it all those years, winning race after race, and not crashing that often. It might mitigate the issues he will have in his first couple years of 450SX. LOVE the show, dude. Thanks for getting these guys in and talking. I love it.
