    Good afternoon Mr Howard
I have my adi 3 test next week. I have bought your book and following your video clip. Could you please have a new video for the subject meeting traffic please. Much appreciated.

Howard I love your style of teaching, it's one of the reasons why I continue to watch your videos. It helps my own teaching (music) and I am thankful I got to meet you! Just one question, do you have any advice on how to learn roads / street names if you are unfamiliar with routes for my own driving? Looking forward to watch your new videos! 👍🏻

James Fergus thank you James! As I’m a visual learner I would need to look at a map to learn the road names and eventually they go in. Weirdly I’m better at knowing road names in London than Norwich! Probably due to my summer in 1990 working in London, bought an A - Z and soon learnt my way around.

She is doing well. I believe she is over instructing, though. Get Howard to answer for you. Use passing cars as an example, ask about risk is the car too close to the junction. Ect get him to move around the car then pull back in when safe to do so. What mirrors should we be checking moving out and back in. You can never have enough Q&A I am a pdi but I have really stepped up my game I was always over instructing. Hope this helps.❤

    Hi Howard
Just a quick question regarding part 3 test , do the briefings needs to be done as soon as the examiner gets in in the test centre car park or can it be done near the practice area ? Also can the pupil sit in the car at test centre or do they also need to go inside the test centre and meet the examiner , what is your advice on this please ?

Really enjoyed wathching this. Personally I would have pulled you in within the first couple of mins of you starting to drive to get your speed and position sorted. I was always taught to do a demonstration in situations like this, obviously on a part 3 that wouldn't be appropriate, but in a real lesson whats the thoughts on demonstrations these days? excellent video Howard. Interesting to hear you say £27 an hour, now where I live it is £50 to £60 an hour, with some charging £65. It's imperative that clients are getting value for money when things are so expensive.

I totally agree. They never did establish what the pupil’s needs were relating to meeting situations, and it became clear very quickly that he needed help, so a stop and review could have given a much better result.

She supposed to pull the learner up especially after 3rd time he signalled before mirrors and approaching cars too fast and talk about it/ correct the behaviour by asking opened questions ideally. She missed correcting these faults.

She is better than most. The driver acting as pupil is driving too erratic, almost like a early beginner . Unfair on the pdi

She needs a lot to be a driving instructor, a lot missing, the instructions time missing, couldn’t identify meeting traffic, she needs to draw attention of learner. To discover meeting traffic, problems with junctions,
