As a driving instructor for many years I find it incredible it takes 1 and 30 mins to teach this basic stuff . I wouldn’t have any pupils left if I kept doing time wasting roadside chats for 15 minutes . Driving is about trial by error , the more you do it the better u get . Less waffle and more driving !!!!!!!

Just a quick question if thats ok… when coming up to the end of the road and either side has a dropped curb or centre island do pedestrians always have priority also if your emerging onto a main road and it is busy would you need to just position your car before the dropped curb to allow pedestrians while you wait for a clear path to emerge?
I’ve a questions if you can answer that that will be really helpful. I’m working with my Pupil on junctions and that could be my topic for my part 3. We have few unmarked junctions. If they mess up on those junctions approaching and emerging. What reference point I can give it to them if they cut corners. (Imaginary corners) how I should be doing my analysis on those unmarked. Just use the mid point of the junction. Only do this IF they are struggling to judge it tho. Get to the root cause of the problem. Why are they cutting the corner? How is their speed? Are they in too high gear? Are they looking at the gear? Is there are parked car near the junction? Once you find out why, then start looking at possible solutions. Talk to your pupil.
