Thanks for the video! Are these 20 degree rock sliders? I’m curious how much room you have between kickout and back door when opening? Any concerns? I cannot decide between 0 or 20 degrees. I did see one video where 20 degree did become a problem with the door after some heavy usage but that was on a 4runner.
Yes they are 20 degrees and no issues with the door. I could see the right hit and hard enough it could bring the kick out up high enough to block the door. I can see that happening but the chances are slim. You would almost have to be careless. I like the 20 degrees though because to me, it looks slicker
Thanks JC and thanks for watching! my lift is the Toytec Boss alum series 2.5. it gives you 2-3 inches of lift. I have black rhino rims with a -10offset riding on 285/70/17 falcon wild peaks AT3. Ive also added SPC upper control arms (bought it with the kit plus bump stops), and put Dr. KDSS Panhard bar correction kit. I called Toytec and spoke to a rep and he helped me build it out. We talked about what I wanted to use it for and how much weight I would add with bumpers, ect. Very helpful since I was new to the GX/toyota community at the time. I hope this helps brother and if you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask!
Maybe the plate is bit different for older years ,any way love what you doing and direction you going with GX ,and to be honest you got the better end of the deal inheriting GX from the wife lol
Haha I completely agree with getting the better deal! Thanks for watching brother! I can’t wait to see how the wrap comes out. Should be picking it up today:)
These look fantastic. Wish we went with RCI sliders like you did.... ❤ Great video. Thank you for sharing...

@ think they look slick too! Do ever use them as steps still? Any second thoughts on no top plates?
Looks really good. Great job

Looks awesome! What grill is that?
Thanks brother I appreciate it! The grill I got from garage alpha off road. It’s the trd pro grill for the GX
You didn’t have to modify KDSS line plate ? For some reason I had to
No. I thought I would have because I’ve seen it in other videos but I didn’t have to
