@@nicholaskoroneos4516 the kdss skid plate must be removed to install these sliders and you cannot reinstall it, which means your kdss lines are exposed and vulnerable
@victory 4x4 Can you add more detail about where exactly you make cuts? I'm talking about the 5:30-6:30 parts of the video. You talk about carrying a line straight forward but you're obviously placing tape at an angle. This is a very important part of the process and I don't want to mess it up.
@Victory4x4 I'm about to install, wondering if you would still put the mounts on on the sliders first or as in other videos i've seen mounts on the truck first then install the slider?
How much additional clearance are you getting compared to the stock step? Love that the blitz sliders keep the lighting, but they look like they sit a little lower than some of the other sliders on the market?
The sliders themselves only provide about 1" more ground clearance over the factory body molding; however, the benefit of the slider is its ability to A.) take an impact and B.) "slide" over an obstacle. If ground clearance is your #1 concern, a suspension lift may be something to consider first.
I've read that the slider bracket may prevent reinstallation of the KDSS armor skid plate where the lines come over the frame rail. Is this true? You can see the lines exposed at 16:05 th-cam.com/video/6ZbQVIfVyPc/w-d-xo.html
These are the nicest looking sliders I've seen for a 460. Really cool that it retains the lights.
Thank you!
@@Victory4x4 once you guys get the kdss skid plate problem resolved, I’ll be ready to throw money at you.
@@chrischambless what’s the problem with the skid plate (so I don’t make the same mistake!)

@@chrischambless ah. Thanks for the response.
So what the best option for Sliders then?
Super helpful for our install today. Thanks for posting! Love the sliders!
Do your KDSS lines remain exposed after taking the skid plate off? You can see them at 16:05 in the video.

This video is the way we recommend to install the the sliders.
