Great video! Can you please explain the timing for activating the core once all upgrades are already achieved? I know it instantly regenerates shields, but does it do anything else? I notice often you are activating it even with full shields within the smoke. Is it instantly giving you an extra Smoke charge? It's hard for me to tell if the charges are going up the instant you activate the core. Thanks
Ok maybe I understand now: you instantly activate the core in the heat of the battle surrounded by enemies so that you can quickly generate new smokes. Otherwise, if you leave the core unused, you cannot generate smokes. Is that correct? Are there any other benefits to activating the core besides shield generation and allowing new smokes to generate?
Grunts doesn't shoot anti titan weapon? Monarch spawn already max upgrade Enemy titan hardly attacked, unaggressive, and doesn't use core? Can we truly county this as insane?
If you kill grunts before they shoot any anti titan weapon, or you cover yourself by smoke hence you are invisible from enemies. Already max upgrade? Just check more carefully, it takes upgrades to reach maximum. Why enemies unaggressive? I answered this before, you are invisible when covered by smoke, this is a fundamental of FD gameplay. Why no core? AI titans also need to gather core meter to use a core, and in common case, they cant survive before their first core ready. AI using core is fairly rarely in FD, so why you think they should have used cores? Can we count this insane? Why not? Just enter your private match and choose insane FD mode, then you can play what we have played
@gtjeight384 Electric smoke / countermeasures is basically meta in frontier defence, but some people like this guy still don't seem to get this as the AI are invisible if you are within or behind smoke. Smoke is the major reason why these solo videos are even possible on this gamemode watching your videos especially on insane.
The fact that the man was able to hold down at least 3 waves of enemies coming from different directions, on just the replenishable backup battery meter... is insane. Monarch is the definition of guns, guns, guns.

@@gtjeight384I did about 2,000 FD matches on this map, including hundreds of master and insane matches. In wave 1, usualy 4 - 8 grunts come from that building, and also 4-8 stalker come from the underpass. That they are completely missing is strange - or there have been many many tries where they did but that got not streamed. Private matches come with their own rules that can be tweaked, including faster cores, so maybe that‘s the reason. Also, at 19:23 you can clearly see that the Monarch is cloaked, the Legion is staying next to it, but is not shooting, so most of the damage to the Monarch in this match is collateral from staying in the line of fire to the harvester. Same with the big group of stakers shortly before at 18:58. They just stop at the titan. That also explains the base strategy of letting them come and then just smoke them. Uilizing that enemy titans don’t shoot you if they can’t see you because of smoke, this would maybe also be doable without cloaking. And why is the Legion at 10:26 just sitting at the harvester and not shooting it (or the Monarch) at all? It’s passing a few seconds earlier when the Monarch is attacking the other Legion - and then just waits at the harvester to be killed. But nice done using satchels through the e-wall and still fun to watch.

kill any enemy units will work, and only in FD killing bots counts for tactical kill
