Corners will be lacking some for sure but I don't think it matters on the grand scheme. People focus on getting max numbers all over the canopy, on paper. In actual practice the plants are a little more forgiving. I doubt anyone would be disappointed in a 5x5 grow with this light. I definitely could have taken a corner reading to prove it but I figure showing 500 at each side pretty much explains it. I never said it was a 5x5 killer just that it would work. I don't do BTU calculations to approximate cooling but since high end LED can be 30-40% more efficient in a 4x4-5x5 space you would need less cooling. HLG has a nice calculator on their website for that. I go off my wifi sensors and adjust accordingly because my intake air from outside is always changing temp/humidity. I reviewed the 650 diablo that's as close as I have. The ballasts are attached, you would need to add cord to detach. HLG has diy kits as do many companies you can run multiple LED boards off one driver as long as you do all the math right and get a large enough driver.
Thanks for reply but I mean one driver running 24 hours.... Hooked up to two seperate led light boards... in different rooms...running 12 hours each... on opposite schedule. Half as many drivers. No hydro cycle pattern... no spike (for old ballasts). I realized how stupid it was one day to have equipment...at least ballasts.. only working for me half the time and doing nothing the rest. Had I gone even bigger I would have considered moving lights from one area into a mirrored arrangement in another. Engineering required. Anyway if it is possible to flip flop drivers for less like I did with the old magnetic ballasts I would like to. I was told spider farmer will not sell components separately

No, I’m not gonna buy this light just based on its warranty and how they cut corners. Who knows where else they cut some corners.
This light sucks anyway compared to what's out now. Check out my latest reviews, this one is a few years old.
This warranty is pretty standard for "cheaper" LEDs. You CAN find companies that have full 5 year warranties but they're also more expensive. Go figure.
@@Justintime2grow absolutely true. You get what you pay for.
Lmao they stuck an IR in there 🤣😂
???? SF 7000 does NOT have IR in there!
@@jamesseybold4698 did you not watch the video ?? Lmao
Overkill for 5x5
In what world? This is nowhere near overkill. It's barely enough to do a 5x5 properly.
