I have a sf4000 also and mine has two settings on one side of the dial switch deal there you have a switch to turn it on turn off and on the back side you have a switch for high and low and when I switch mine to high it blows the one you are reviewing out of the water literally don't know if you call the setting switch on the back or not but yeah just saying and for my 4 by 4 set up evenly spread light throughout solid Bud development throughout it is an awesome light!!

Great for a 3X3. if the physical size of the light had 6 inches each way it would even the parr out a bit more.

I’ve got 2 of those in my 4x8 and your readings correlate with how my grow is doing everything on the edges except for the middle edge is doing meh but everything else is looking pretty nice

Great review. It's light spectrum must be dialed right in for it to be as effective as they say it is. You do awesome reviews bro, I use to watch you all the time. Perfect to veg a 4x4 unfortunately I chose mars hydro ts3000😒 I have a spider farmer se3000 in a 2.5x2.5 and a se7000 in a 5x5. Well my se3000 is in the 4x4 with the ts3000 because half the light failed and 2 weeks later mars hydro supposedly sending me a used replacement today. I ran the light for less than 4 months. My money is going to spider farmer bar lights from now on.

The TS series is pretty low end. About as low end as it gets and still getting decent output. They need more thermal protection on it. They run super hot which can damage components over time.

@@Justintime2grow yeah I only used that light for about 4 months of veg at about 75% with fans on them and the drivers were outside of the tent with fans on them as well. I just got a shipping number 1and the only details I got was its an "opened" but not used u it they are sending me. I got no response when I asked the voltage and to verify I'd be getting an American plug and the response I got was, "sorry for the inconvenience were here to help"🤣 my spider pharmacy se7000 I absolutely love. I watch your video several times to judge my ppfd until I get a meter. Thank you for putting out these videos the information really is helpful.

I just bought a kill a watt meter to measure my old model sf 4000 and it's 630 watts and my sf 2000, older model is o er 300 watts. I'm bout to blow my 4x4 apart 😂😂😂

24 inches above the canopy is way too high in flower. 12-18 inches, strain dependent. You have to find the sweet spot.

I really miss them too because it's pretty much where I learned and got excited about growing. I miss the weekly updates and gnomie, but utube are d! CKS when it comes to grow channels. At least you found a market for your skills and got a way to hustle from it. 👍I miss the excitement in your videos that you had when showing the donkeys and chunkers, but I still watch and like all the light review videos.
I have seven subs that are basically just a couple friends I'm helping learn and it told me I was listed as age restricted content. 🙄 None of the 3 videos I uploaded even have buds in em but it's an AI that evaluates them.

If you have atleast 32ins you can even it out more meaning the corners will go up and the middle will go down alittle

How would two square lights of that size be oriented in a 5x5 to cover the whole thing well? Think about it. Sounds like a nightmare to me. I never recommend a 5x5 unless you have $1400 to light it.

Had mine for 3yrs running next to my TSW2000 don't see much difference at all...The SF4000 nice light but runs very hott...$500 difference I'd stick with the TSW2000 Plus Customer Service isn't that good...

The TS series is about as bare bones bargain basement as you can get. Hard to compare the two really. TS series is cheaper diodes and drivers and runs even hotter because it uses less metal. The output is fine for as long as it lasts but I would put my money on the Meanwell/samsung setup lasting longer. Also where do you get $500 more?? It's only $500 period when it's not on sale. It's less than $400 right now with my discount code on amazon.

@@Justintime2grow Sorry but when I 1st bought my SF 4000 3yrs ago it was $650 and I bought the TSW2000 for $250 so was $400 difference...Yes diodes and Mean well drivers are better in the SF but as I said I can't tell no difference between the 2 in my 5x5...Next lights will be bar 4sure...
