    Getting a few comments about the Migro video testing P1500 vs XS1500. I tested the P2000 and the XS2000. The XS2000 was 150 PAR more. I do not have two 1500s to recreate his test or I would. I'm not sure why he would suggest not spending the money on better quality parts though and claiming the cheaper parts will last longer just because they're under driven. If that were the case why doesn't every single LED manufacturer do that?
    Migro sells his own brand of light. I kinda just see him as just another lighting manufacturer now. Not many companies in the past did reputable self testing vs other competitors. I would say it's a definite conflict of interest. I do live PAR readings to maintain the integrity of my videos and I have no one company I'm tied to, I test as many as I can get my hands on. If you want PAR maps with no live readings then why not just believe the manufacturer?
    Everyone makes money off these review videos, I don't think that's a secret. I have amazon affiliate links and discount codes just like migro does and any other youtuber would. I do live readings so I can't hide anything from you, I'm held accountable. If the light performs well great, I will make some money, if not then oh well on to the next one.
    Update:
    All you Migro ball sniffers that were giving me shit, he just had to re-release his video with a proper PAR map because he fucked it up. Now he claims they are about the same efficiency. The XS series still has better quality to the build. If he did live par mapping his "mistake" wouldn't have happened. Anyone who recommends the P series over the XS series is doing you a disservice just to save you a few dollars. I just wonder how many people ran out and bought a P series on his amazon affiliate link before he corrected himself. Poor bastards lol. But I see people over there still blowing sunshine up his ass congratulating him on being so "transparent". I got no issue with Migro personally let him do his thing, I've watched some of his videos, but when his fanboys start coming at me I gotta set the record straight hit em with some facts.

      💯 brother. I had to defend in my video as well. I said the same thing. The results were not better but rather the same. What he didn’t mention is that he tested the p series at 25cm and the xs at 37cm lol. Go back in his videos and look for yourself. At least do them at the same distance.
      You are right, better quality on the xs makes it the winner.

    Man, that thing is looking TIGHT! It's the small things that say a lot about the pride and proprietorship of a company's products. Personally, I look for proper grammar if they actually have a manual, and if it's in English. Wait, did you say there are American companies doing LED's? Wow. For real though, they've really stepped up their game from the first light I noticed from them months ago. I'm not sure how long they've been around but I'm glad they hung around and obviously are staying and making a statement. The playing field is getting more level. I almost chose the 1000 as my very first light. I'm pretty stoked to have a chance to lose another drawing. Anything to get me excited and crush my hopes. Nah, I'm gonna get this one. I know it would look awesome shining on my 3 gallon fabric pots...hint, hint. They were slightly more expensive but they look and feel better. I actually can't get over how cool the design looks and I'm surprised that you said it wasn't heavy because I just bought another random one that looks very similar and it's dang heavy even without the driver, which they didn't bother to attach...seriously...and didn't provide hardware either. Oh and Justin, by they way, you really need to make your hints more noticeable if you want that 4000. That thing is a beast! I didn't realize you were giving away a light as well. That's very admirable and generous of you. I feel like I'm kissing ass. Good luck everyone! Hey, I'm changing my handle to "Go write your dang novel somewhere else9970". Thanks for the info and great job as always.

      Yeah I like all the attention to the little details as well as the big ones. There are a few “American” led companies. Chilled makes their led boards in house and assembled in house. Of course they have to use some non US made parts as not everything is made here.

    That's interesting that yours shows 236 watts from the wall. My xs 2000 shows that it pulls 245 watts on my power meter. Well one of them is off. I just got mine about 2 months ago, and I have only tested my 2 lights, the xs2000 and my little maxsisun 100w. I think the maxisun pulled about 95 or maybe closer to 90 I can't remember. My reading matches up with what the manufacturer says because viparspectra says it's 240 + 5. I just figured I would mention that difference.

    I just want to thank you for all your videos they really helped me a little too late I own a more spectrum 300 the original a bloom spec 600 avera sky 1000 watt a unidentified light that's supposed to be 300 watt but when I got a wattage meter not a single one is over 125 watts two of the Vero sky and the bloom specific 300 watt doesn't even pull 25 watts from the wall The Mars hydro pulls 125 and the Mars hydro tube pulls 125 from the wall as well and then the blooms back 600 pulls 127 from the wall so it's would be so much help to have this light so I could replace hanging all these lights in such a small 2x4 tent like I literally have six LED lights covering four plants and I'm still not getting very good yields the light fluffy buds not tight nugs like it should be but I do think you I have learned my lesson and I'm more selective about the lights I'm trying to get rid of some of them so I can afford a decent or high-end LED light that will give me high yields and tight nugs but I want to be able to do that without your videos so again keep up the good work and thank you

    Oh, and Migro have been making lights for a while now. He used to do some cobs, even went on to the newer Lumii chips when they came out. But think he's chasing the panel light craze that seems to be sweeping through the manufacturers. The ladder style is also a lot of companies go to now as well. Copying from the Fluence Spyder-X, to chase the ultimate effficiency. Ah well. Doesn't make these lights any less bright, or awesome

    A friend of me from europe would like to buy a Viparspectra P2500.
    Unfortunately this light isn´t available and won´t be in future at the Viparspectra EU - shop/site.
    So if he would buy it via american postal service from the states it would cost in total at least 275€
    and in case of warranty he would have to pay all international return shipping costs.
    Really not ideal!
    As an american buyer the P2500 costs you only 207 USD(10% coupon) with 3 years guarantee service in the states
    and as an european buyer you got just 2 years guarantee for europe, but like I said the P2500 isn´t available at the EU-shop/site.
    So if he would buy the smaller P2000, wich is available in the EU-shop/site, he would have to pay 259,99 € for 2 years guarantee service at the EU-shop/site,
    at the US-shop/site it costs only 198,99 USD(without coupon) with 3 years warranty service.
    Just for comparison, you can get the SpiderFarmer SF2000 for 247,03 €(without coupon), this light has only high end parts and six leds more than the Viparspectra P2000, not such an nice heat sink like the Viparspectra leds but 3 years guarantee also for their european customers.
    If you want a Viparspectra in combination with famous high end parts, you should have a look at the Viparspectra XS series.
    But since 2020 the only differences between the XS and the PRO series are the drivers (XS:Meanwell;PRO:Sosen),
    the number of leds (the XS2000 for example uses 504 leds at 240 watts, the PRO2000 uses 600 leds at 200 watts) and the color of the led boards.
    My european friend already got the SpiderFarmer SF2000 (new model) and would like to have the Viparspectra P2500 additional, for the bigger number of leds, the 50 watts more power and for testing the Sosen driver.
    But Viparspectra don´t gives european customers the chance to get the P2500 in the EU-shop/site.
    Also the Viparspectra P2000 costs more than the SpiderFarmer SF2000 in europe.
    So why should anybody pay more for less high end parts, maybe beause of the heatsink and the color, I don´t think so!
    So hopefully Viparspectra will offer all of their lights at their EU-shop/site for affordable prices in the near future, because I heard alot of good things about their lights and I think they are really sexy.
    Peace - stay healthy

    Cool Test Justintime2grow. Question for you or anyone who sees this, since you have a 4X2 like me is there a better coverage when you hang double V series Vipers (600's for example) horizontal or vertical in association with the 48 inch width. Have you done any par tests with similar shaped led housings like the 600? mine are currently horizontal.

  • @forklifttony
    @forklifttony 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    That would be really good for a 4*4 veg tent. I ran a 4*4 for veg with just one Mars sp250 almost at the top of my seven ft tent and it did marvelously. Of course the hotspot was the foot wide swath directly under it but it reached to the corners and had everybody happy and growing. I don't have a fancy meter so I judge just by how the plants do. Lol

    • @Justintime2grow
      @Justintime2grow  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's not really going to veg that well in that space IMO. The SP250 had the advantage of being 4' long. This is half that.

    • @forklifttony
      @forklifttony 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Justintime2grow The spider farmer 4000 did it too in a 4*4 until my plants got too tall to have proper light hit them. I ended up getting two more Mars 4ft-ers and dropping the sf4000 into a 3*3 where it can flower the entire thing.

    • @forklifttony
      @forklifttony 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm just saying it worked for me. I don't have the a par tester to get the numbers from it ran 5-6 ft off the canopy at 90%. The sp250 had the advantage of the length, but was very narrow in width compared to a square-ish quantum board. 🤷

    • @Justintime2grow
      @Justintime2grow  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@forklifttony neither is ideal and everyone has a different definition of “worked”. A lot of growing is subjective. As long as you’re happy that’s all that matters really. 👍🏼

    Got a question. Is it true that you have to increase light during flower each week or it will starve your plants? My friend is letting me use his 1k real watt hps and it has no dimmer so it's full blast the whole flower.

    • @misterkim6206
      @misterkim6206 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Whaddup William W?! Hope you don't mind me giving my opinion on your question. I've been growing for 3 days now (kidding, kidding) and What I've heard and through experience is that you're not necessarily "starving" your plant because plants make it to harvest all the time with different method. I think it's more a matter of introducing your lights at full power all at once and not being able to gradually give it increases so it responds more efficiently instead of becoming tolerant of the power and not being able to stimulate it any more. It will still grow as long as it has the power to get through flower in the first place. It's similar to stressing the plant with darkness before cutting or just like a real child or animal or wife (oops), it will stay alive and continue to grow, just not at its full potential by giving it more when it can take more. Are you able to adjust the height? Doing this would be similar if you're able to cover the required footprint. Also, not all lights have dimmers. Even some of the reputable ones like Spider Farmer or Mars Hydro didn't have them in the beginning. So people made due, you know? If I am completely wrong I apologize for misdirection, and maybe just talk to it more and breathe on it. You can doooooo it!
