- This week we were planning to make a neon sign for our shop, but things didn't work out as planned.... Once we got into the details, we turned into Goldilocks, we learned that some neon is "too big" and some neon is just "too small", so we had to change gears and come up with something that was "just right" for our current skill level! So we used a little acrylic and some LED lights to make a DIY Neon Sign box! Come watch us #doitbuilditmakeit!

Hey Guys! Ive made a bunch of LED Neons with the Neon flex. I can tell in that first minute of your video, you got a very difficult neon to work with. If you get the right stuff, its super easy. And soldering isn't scary at all. I had never done it before, but it's easy with the right stuff. If you want to try the neon again, I can answer any questions you might have. a couple of my videos show the signs Ive made with it. Nice Sign btw!

I have done a couple. The key is to get the thinner stuff like 5mm. Soldering isn't that bad just takes practice and lots of there's lots of great TH-cam tutorials I've seen what you can do Garrett you've got this

I don't know how Garrett does it, I can't follow what he does when he does his thing with adobe illustrator, but great job...your sign is so fun!
And yes my mind also wonders at night when I sleep too
He's been doing it for so long it's hard to know what to teach beginners! What lost you? We're working on an illustrator course right now!
So I'm re watching it, i've kinda taught myself with gimp 2.10...how to maneuver through the system on a trial and error basis, I guess I would like to know more about the layering. I've watches several you-tubers and they all say it's simple lol...not for everyone... I guess I would have to do it step by step on split screens ..Thank you so much! What machine do you use to cut the board? Do you know which machine can be used to cut acrylic?
This is a great project but I will never make one. I don’t have the glowforge or anything to cut acrylic … soooo …. No! But I loved yours!
