      The Dicor brand self leveling product will not stick to the Henry's, only the Henry's brand of self leveling sealant will. Only silicone sticks to silicone. I used Henry's on Ms Gyspy. I know you had the right stuff, but you may want to clarify this on a later video as its easy to get confused about it.

    Yes, there are combs made specially for AC fins. The spacing lines up and you can do wsy more at a time. Not expensive!

      yes, as I mentioned, it will straighten them, but it won't pull them out if pushed in. lol. You have to pry them out so there's something to "comb" first

      @@nomadicfanatic that is why MOST hvac techs don’t even try combing fins, they just replace the coil since it is easier and typically cheaper than to sit there and comb…

      @petercolquhoun2086 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You are correct, a new roof comes in a roll, not a can. This was just a protection layer. It can prolong the life of the existing roof; not repair or replace it.

  • @adam_waller
    @adam_waller 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    Looks good Eric, although, however I suggest that you look into changing the roof and use a PVC based product next time instead of just putting on a coating as they will last longer and easier to repair, though it costs more. I'm a commercial roofer by trade, and most of the time rubber does come on a roll. For commercial roofs we consider Henry's roof style coatings a TEMPORARY fix, only lasts a few years, and prevents us from repairing roofs properly.

    You could put the extra generator in the trailer, vent it and build outlets into the outside wall so it's like a power station as well as a motorcycle conveyance. Plus maybe some extra solar on the roof.

    There is a special tool (much like a comb) that are made specifically for condenser fin straightening ... don’t know if big box stores carry them ... you could try Johnstone Supply or Graingers both are in most major US cities.
    There are several types to choose from with various spacing to accommodate your particular spacing on your condenser
    The method you using works just that it is very time consuming but maybe the best results ... as a tech I started with a tool and then touched up using your method as needed.
    Lights were impressive
    Great video
    Thank You

    The tool is not worth it. They don't need to be straight just separated so air can flow through them. I discarded the tool and used a very small screwdriver. You are using a great option with the box cutter.
