Overall, Frieda is a much better RV for you than Miranda. Sure, you have issues, but its not constant, not major, not the same problems like you had. I am so thrilled that this is working out, rain or shine. Hugs to you and the Kitties!
We love shopping there. They saved us earlier this year when we got the Class C and there was no door lock/latch on the door. They didn't have the right size on the shelf, but they *just* got in an RV that they were taking apart and the lock on it was just the right one.
In the 100s here in Utah. Looking forward to being in PNW in September! I’m loving the fur babies. I’ll be bringing my fur baby with me. He’s an adult neutered male. Actually from Canada. He snuck into a couples RV luggage compartment somewhere in Canada. When they got to Auburn, Pacific Raceway, he jumped out. As they could not take him back across the border, I agreed to take him. If we couldn’t keep him I promised to take him to a no kill shelter. On day 2 Mom named him Buddy. He loves to follow me around so I called him Bear, he became BuddyBear. Loves to travel, I suspect he was a truckers cat. He too is a snuggler. Save travels and hugs to the babies.

So glad you made it to Ocean Shores for the 4th (I was sure that was where you would end up) .... I started watching your channel some years ago because you were in OC on the 4th. Eric, you can buy de-flappers for the sides of awning. They attach to fabric half way and arm. Work perfect in light wind and easy to use. Plus tie downs help on windy days while you there. Otherwise we always took our awning down, I think you always did that anyway.
Eric, you gotta get back to the wynoochee dam before you leave the area. It's gonna be warm Monday and Tuesday. Perfect time to go exploring. Check out the John tornow shootout site up there. Right hand side of the road just passed mile marker 29 headed up to the dam. It's a good part of history, and interesting.
I love sitting at the beach with you looking out over the ocean. Listening to it is so relaxing. I like it on the cooler side. So glad you got the awning fixed. I love seeing you everyday.

You've not mentioned the status of Miranda. Did you just park it for a season? Or are you still trying to get a repair appointment for the rig? Are you thinking of selling it and staying with Frieda since it's smaller and consumes less gas?

Here in Spring Texas it's going to be 100° and figure in the heat index it'll get to 109 at least also to mention the drought that's happening we're in desperate need of rain so Eric where you're at sounds pretty good because if you were here in Texas you'd have to stay indoors because of the Heat so it's either stay indoors because of the Heat or stay indoors because of the rain can't seem to get what we want when we want it but we also have to be grateful because we need the rain to grow stuff and to Keep Us Alive not so much the Heat

I should say you buy a used RV and it's missing the top stove grate because previous owners took it out to clean or soak and it never made it's way back. I've had this happen with THREE used RVs I've purchased. It's quite common actually.

There have been a lot of storms going through with heavy winds. So I'm not super surprised they are doing more awnings than normal.

What we did. Put short straps around the awning arms as high as you can reach when you are ready to roll.

350 and V10 are not different models. 350 means one ton chassis, and V10 would be the engine. My truck is both.
