Great comparison 👍 I've used the 1" on the front of my bicycle with the selfie stick all the way in and the visuals are absolutely wonderful. Indeed, it's not an action cam, but since there're no mountains, sea or snow around me it's the right choice for me. Besides that I just want the best image, so that's why the 1" is right for me. Until Insta360 will not release Premium Lens Guard for One X3 I think it can't be used as motorcycle camera. Flying mud, insects and stones may damage or scratch camera lenses very fast.
Another excellent video, thanks very much. I've just finished a six and a half month trip from the UK to Australia. The X2 rapidly became my go to and most important camera but I still had to use my helmet mounted Sony X3000 for audio. Unfortunately, the first X2 I used failed very early on after being submerged for only 10 seconds in the water somewhere in Montenegro. BE WARNED - I checked the USB door and it appeared to be sealed well enough but clearly wasn't! My second X2 was great for almost 5 months (it was never taken near any water apart from when it rained) but started to become unreliable and failing, intermittently switching into a weird mode with the LED either going blue or green whilst in instant record mode, when I reached the outback in Australia. I'm thinking that maybe the constant vibration through the handlebars was a contributing factor. In anticipation of this I took out the extra cover replacement warranty and I'll be contacting Insta as soon as I get a chance but the fact remains that I lost a whole lot of footage which either didn't record or was corrupted on my once in a lifetime trip. Just a footnote: I still love the camera and wouldn't hesitate to buy another one but there are some potential reliability issues that might be worth considering if you decide to buy one.
Had the x3 for a few weeks now…….wish I’d done more homework, not being able to transfer the sdxc card files directly to my iPad Pro via a usb c 3 card reader is a real pain in the butt. Transfer by wifi is ridiculous. Otherwise a great camera.

Nice comparison, I have the X2 and been using it for most of my rides this year as a dashcam. I have a nice centermounted RAM ball on my FJR1300 so I can get all the angles, both frontview through the windscreen and also myself in case anything should happen. First of all I always enjoy your videos! Thankyou. On my bikes I use the Insta360 X2 (for 360 mounted on top of my helmet - and occasionally on different parts of the bike) plus two of the original DJI Action cameras (one pointing forward and the other backwards). The Action cams replaced my ancient GoPro 2 and GoPro 3. 😀

Hi! About 2 months ago I bought the One RS 4k without the 360 Lens. Do You recommend me to buy the 360 lens or sell It and buy the X3? I mainly use It for motorcycle and travel video to post on social media. Thanks in Advance and congratulations for the review!
I would buy the x3 but keep the one rs as it’s easier to mount on your helmet. If you sell the rs or buy the 360 mod you will still only be able to use one camera at a time. I’ve got the x3 but want to get the rs 4K for my helmet.
I bought the 4k boost package as well and found a cheap 360 lens online. I went for it thinking that I can get just the RS core from the same seller as well and still cost less than getting the X3. Also I won’t have to buy 2 different sets of batteries. By the way, these are all brand new but due to the recent 10-10 sale, it got super cheap!😄
I'm passing this year also on 360 cameras. I mean the X3 is close, but still not there. If it were 350 euro, I might buy it but at 540 Euro... no thanks! Maybe in 5 years from now we'll have a true 360 camera at a correct price with image quality that doen not turn to 1080p mush when doing reframing. 5.7k my arse... By the way! The 1000 euro RS 1inch does it still have 8bit sound recording or Insta360 managed to do the update?

Thanks for your video! How would you rank / which would you recommend for use in the swimming pool and under water? And any idea how the DJI Action 2 and 3 compare for use in the pool (also under water)?
But , have you mentioned (did I miss..) the higher frame rate insta x3 supports..? I cannot decide if I should return my un-open x2 and pay more and get x3 ! All I care is 360 motorcycle footage.
Quality video mate. How did you get that moto shot at the end of the video that looked like someone else was filming? Was it using the extended selfie stick?
which one would you recommend for just security purposes on a motorcycle for if anything happens whilst I am riding (I don't do any sort of vlogging). Thank You.
can't see myself getting the X3 over the X2. gets the job done for $100 less, and i am coming from a Hero 3 which was made a decade ago so the X2 is still a huge upgrade.
Hello mate. I have a question 🤔. Can I edit GoPro 11 Black footage along with insta360 x3 in one place? If it is possible, which app you recommend? I have both cameras, never edited before. Don't want to change my GoPro for the Ace Pro in order to use only insta360 studio editor. What do you think about this my friend?
In the beginning of your video when you start riding the X2 and the 1 inch bolt show dramatically more vibration because they are further out on the handlebar. This will affect the video and it’s hard to take in video quality comparison when you see this at the very start of your video.
Hi I’m a biker like you. Question… X3 and Instamic( if it ever happened for you to have one). I wish to know once instamic and X3 will be connected via bluetooth and i decide to start recording at some point by giving “the Voice Command” to the X3 to “start recording”( it works with the AirPods) if the instamic and the X3 will start recording simultaneously ?. Thanks for your help Thanks for your time Tony

@@bjohnson8190 Thank you! Yea, I was wondering about quality of screen grabs; hard to tell without trying it out. They're pricey items if you're not sure it'll work for your purpose.
Nice in-depth video for 360 camers!
Will you be doing DJI Osmo Action 3 review as well?
Thanks for your link, I used it to pick up an X3. Was the best link I could find. I don’t ride but I plan to use it for snowboarding and outdoor adventures which the free stick and motorcycle bundle can be adapted to. Video liked
Did you got the free stick and the motorcycle bundle ?
@@ilutheran325 yup!
Can you plug any of them into a USB battery bank and go beyond the 81 minute recording limit also can you hardwire into a cigarette port or wire it directly to the car's electrical system?
Hi , you may not see my question, but let’s give a go you might , so I ride a Canam trike as I can’t ride 2 wheel anymore due to a disability. I wear a Hjc flip front helmet so front mount is not an option , so I side mount my DJI action great camera but now this is where it goes downhill . Noise wind just over powers all my videos , I’ve watched so many of your videos I’m so confused , I’m thinking maybe a cardo but not sure if that will work with DJI
I can’t afford a new camera , due to my disability fiddley mounts are no good , got to be easy , what now , what mic ?
Goad your an Aussie , kiwi or aussies I support
so which is better to them??? in day time and low lights??
Yep, I second this!
Thanks for this! Helped a lot to make a decision and the affiliate link was great! Did not find a better deal even with a search! (Moto bundle and selfie stick free🔥🔥🔥)
Great quick review. I am using Dji action for my motorcycle rides. I want to start 360 degree recording and thanks to you I'm going for X3 model.
picked up an x3 based on your previous vid, have barely dabbled with it but enjoying it so far
top review as always, trying to decide between the x3 and the Rs as my first camera. Definitely swaying towards the x3 now. Thanks man.
Really nice to see Melbourne in 360 :D. Missing the place.
Suggestion, legends can be put on top instead of bottom, because it will be blocked by CC.
Great video, exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much, from Argentina.
should i be concerned if i drop my insta360 X2 a couple of times through regular use?
Based on price and comparison, best bang for you’re buck in my opinion would be the X2.
Thanks for your video! How would you rank / which would you recommend for use in the swimming pool and under water? And any idea how the DJI Action 2 and 3 compare for use in the pool (also under water)?
I'm interested in getting an X3 through your affiliate link. Do you get the selfish stick and the motorcycle bundle or just one of them?
Did you buy ? You got the free stuff ?
Thanks for the info and affiliate link! Very cool.
But , have you mentioned (did I miss..) the higher frame rate insta x3 supports..? I cannot decide if I should return my un-open x2 and pay more and get x3 ! All I care is 360 motorcycle footage.
hie i am looking to buy X3 Can u help me in figuring out whether it can be a good purchase for action camera? how is about the image quality
So... Maybe our eyes are different. But can you explain why it is that without fail in all of your footage the X2 had the sharpest image?
You've got a few dead links in the decription.
I was looking at the Go Pro helmet mount (chin) and it's 404ing.
@moto feelz
how did you get that footage 11:40 when you were passing the corvette
Quality video mate. How did you get that moto shot at the end of the video that looked like someone else was filming? Was it using the extended selfie stick?
Great one. Will the vibration kill the camera one day?
Really nice comparison! Thank you for the info!
which one would you recommend for just security purposes on a motorcycle for if anything happens whilst I am riding (I don't do any sort of vlogging). Thank You.
can't see myself getting the X3 over the X2. gets the job done for $100 less, and i am coming from a Hero 3 which was made a decade ago so the X2 is still a huge upgrade.
If I have to buy now which one should i select X2 or X3 ?
I have the X3 and GoPro 9 love them
It’ll be my first camera for moto vlogging so I’m looking at the RS. I’ll look at X2 or X3 when I’m ready for a second camera.
GoPro hero 10 vs insta 360 x3 which is best for daily TH-cam vlogging travelling and touring video
Gopro Max
How do you think the RS 4K single lens compares to the GoPro 11 Black?
Great work , Thank you very much ! I already bought X3
What would u recommend X3 or rs twin edition plss reply......m very confused....lvd ur vedios 😊
How does the x3 single lens compare to the one rs 4k boost lens?
In the beginning of your video when you start riding the X2 and the 1 inch bolt show dramatically more vibration because they are further out on the handlebar. This will affect the video and it’s hard to take in video quality comparison when you see this at the very start of your video.
I have the OneRS right now. We'll see if I like it.
Very good comparison. Thanks for that!
Thanks for your help
Thanks for your time
Tony
is it melbourne where are you driving`? looks like reverse f1 track sometimes?! great video also!
I have a voucher for a specific shop who is out of stock of the X3, but do have the RS twin edition (£20 cheaper). Would you wait to see if the X3 comes back into stock or just get the RS twin?
Although the One RS seems like a versatile option the X3 is the best option in my opinion. My only gripe is the lack of ND filter option for the X3. Does any one know any DIY ND filter options?
THANK YOU for the free stuff links! This made all the difference for me to purchase one of these and get into Vlogging with an Insta360 X3. Without your deal I wouldn't have 🤩🤗👍👍👋
I have the One X2, I think the shots are great but I don't know how you upload to TH-cam without pixelation when moving on your bike?. Can you tell me what setting fixes that? Great video.. considering an upgrade now 😉👍🏻
does the 1 inch sensor camera has the single lens mode??
I'm going to buy so which should it will be best for moto vlog and for normol vlog . I'm confused with X3 or OneRS... Can you suggest me please...😊
What is the price 😊😃
Good job, mate. Cheers from India.
I'm thinking of the X3 but the website says can't be used as a webcam. Any experience of this?
How about the software of Insta. Is this also as bad as that of GopPro for the computer? A video about the software would be very helpful.
Nowhere near as bad as GoPro! I have a tutorial video on insta360 Studio 🤘
I have a One X and it works for my short MC jaunts. I have issues keeping the BT remote or the Phone App connected to the One X. I wanted to LIVE stream from it, but it's essentially impossible since the phone app doesn't stay connected. Are the newer versions any better at staying connected?
