I am going to here in January, got the ticket for an amazing price of £15 staying there for 7 days at a cost of £20 checked the reviews sounds amazing. Cheaper to go and relax there then to chill out at home in London. My favourite dates in the world are from my home country of Iran. As for medina, its the prophets city, also known as Muhammad's migration to the city from the holy city of Mecca.

Agadir in Amazigh language means the casttle, cause there was a casttle in the highest mountain near the cost, the top of that mountain called " Agadir oufella", there was big casttle there called Agadir oufella, the casttle was distroyed by the earthquike of 1960, and it turned now a beautiful museum of amazigh heritage and art... Medina means "a city" now, but before like 1000 year back, medina was the name of a small village where the prophet ran to when people from Mekka wanted to kill him. if u look for the city in google maps in Saudi Arabia, you'll see that the city's name is medina. in Arabic we call it the illuminated city to specify it since if we call it medina people will wait for you to say the name of this medina.

the one you mentioned was the city of "Madina" in Saudi Arabia, there's also the maltese M'dina (old capital of Malta), the moroccan version means the historic part of the city, we pronounce it just like in maltese.

Actually the name of Madina you uttered its meaning refers to Madinah which is a city in Saudi 🇸🇦 and called the city of the profete.. yet this is not standing for the general signification of madina in the language that is the town/city !

Just to clarify, Medina means city not city of prophet. It s usually called Medina kadima which Means old city but people just say Medina to refer to old city.

The West always imagines Morocco is a country with deserts and camel caravans, but the truth is that Morocco is not a developed country and the oldest kingdom in the world.
