    This technique is a must if you spend a lot of time driving, sitting at a desk and/or sitting in general as the muscles and connective tissues get glued together.
    You can stretch and stretch all you want, but if these tissues are stuck together you are not going to make a difference and in some cases maybe making the issue worse. These adhesions/stuck tissues can also block circulation and cause pain, inflammation and limit mobility.
    If you stand and walk a lot with your feet angled out this is also a sign that your high posterior chain tissues are stuck in a short, stiffened state.
    Warning: This exercise is not meant to be comfortable. If it is your first time you may want to use a tennis ball. If this technique reproduces the pain in your back and/or hip make sure to check with a professional before continuing.
