    They won back to back La liga titles against the Galacticos. They were also ridiculously close to a three peat in 06/07, the last year of his prime. They were tied on points and actually ahead on goal difference.

      Yeah, Barca had a terrible start to the season when they signed Ronaldinho, just like the season before. In January they signed Davids, and they won almost every game till the end of the season. Davids was crazy, in my book one of the five best defensive midfielders ever. Ronaldinho was obviously great, but I doubt that he was actually better than someone like Rivaldo, who at times hard carried Barca alone. Ronaldinho also needed great players like Davids, Deco, Eto'o

    No disrespect to Dinho as he is one of my favorite players ever specially growing up in that era but to say he saved Barcelona alone is a bit of a reach, it was a huge team effort but that year alone (2003) Ronaldinho was signed but a huge under the radar signing that kicked off their dominance was the signing of Rafael Marquez, if you watch his documentary (El Capitan) even Ronaldinho himself gave him his credit to the influence he had on that team players like Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta, Deco, Van Bommel, Eto, Patrick Kluivert, Phillip Cocu, Javier Zaviola, Luis Enrique even David’s had a huge role in the turn around of the team but Dinho was the flash of the team no doubt about it but I feel it’s unfair to just hand someone the entire credit of an entire team effort that is all. 🙏🏼

    Guys before Ronaldhino, Barcelona had a great team. They had Rivaldo, kluivert, Overmars, Cocu, coco. Before them Figo, Guardiola, and Enrique. He then played with Eto’o, Milito, Devi, Larson Guily etc…. It is not like he was a one man team. Also Real Madrid couldn’t sign Ronaldhino because they already had Zidane. Ut didn’t have nothing to do with his look.The toe puke was from R9 first in 2002 final.

    • @thepeekaboobrawler649
      @thepeekaboobrawler649 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No barca was in literal ruins and after ronaldinho the other players started playing better Xavi iniesta etoo deco were supported by r10s creativity and passes and vision . Players used to give the ball to him when things were tight. And all the great players before r10 had already left so he had virtually no one. It was a one man show most of the times. And the toe poke wasn’t popularised until r10 which he did against mourinhos Chelsea .

    When it comes to the greatest signing Barcelona ever did, it would be Johan Cruyff.
    They signed Cruyff when Franco was still the dictator in charge of Spain. Who was a fan of Real Madrid.
    Barcelona was really a mid team from Catalonia. Was on the bottom of the standings. When Cruyff came he turned everything around and won for the first time that year the title after 14 years. The humiliated Real Madrid at their home.
    And still to this day, they play the football of the ideas of Johan Cruyff.
    Johan Cruyff was called El Salvador by the fans of Barcelona.
    Ronaldhino was a big signing for Barcelona. But no way as important as Cruyff ever was.
    By the way. If you are interested. Check 2016 when Cruyff passed away what the fans and FC Barcelona did to honor Cruyff.

    I think Cruyff is the most important Barcelona signing of all time, considering everything he did for them both as a player and later on as a manager.
    Ronaldinho was a flashy genius, but players like Laudrup, Iniesta, Xavi, Iniesta, Busquetz, Messi are all geniuses, but they have a far more functional style of dribbling then the flashy style of Ronaldinho and Neymar.
