If you like guitar related products that come with plenty of innuendo, you need to go take a look at the Friedman Amps nomenclature. The “BE” from the BE100… The Pink Taco, etc… Dave Friedman is a dirty ol man.

I built myself a spring reverb - entirely; the spring tank is made from cardboard, a spring, and two piezos with hooks on them - into a cigar box and had the whole top of the box to label it. So I made vinyl decals of a little fairy character from the Touhou Project games and titled the unit: The Lily White "It's Spring!" Reverb.

Metal Mind is also started in late 80' Record Label, maybe that was the trick to bring attention to the pedal. "Metal Mind" was stamped on many recordings around 90' in Poland.
One of the most epic pedal names is the "Pussy Melter" from Steel Panther. They only did a limited run of this pedal. I actually have the schematic for this circuit and build them for anyone that requests it. Surprisingly nice sounding distortion. A lot of the guys I build these for say it is a permanent fixture on their pedalboard now.
There are a whole lot of things I love about this show, but one of the things that stands out to me the most is Josh's versatility as a player. No matter the genre, he nails it, every time. Even Moon Metal. Never thought I'd hear an early '00s breakdown on this channel, but I sure did.
@@brutalbasspro I have the Super Bawl Whine-O, sonically it is everything I could want from a wah, but suffers from poor build quality I think, I have had to get it fixed twice. I really want the Mold Spore. What does the treadle control on the fuzz wah, just the wah or fuzz or both or what?
@@ted_splitter it has a fuzz circuit on it with a fuzz switch. But it seems the fuzz doesn't work with the wah. Separate they sound good together its not usable really. But looks killer.
I have one that is in mint condition. That's because it never really works correctly...just lights up and tells you the wrong thing. Will be great to indoctrinate (haze) new band members though!

Damn cool name and design. Sounds great clean but kinda gets lost in the drive, regardless what drive and guitar I use. So kinda anticlimactic for a demon... I like it too much to get rid of it and not enough to actually use it.
Ive had many wahs before and after this, but nothing is as versitile.it can " mimic" 99.99% of other wahs, and signature model tweaks .I kinda wish ibanez made some other expression pedal units like this. A phaser would be dope, stage selection," trigger" mode, rise fall, "step", and have the pedal asignable to rate, depth, or mix... or even a volume pedal/ gate, as long as it had swell in AND out, and was as adjustable as the wah
A local builder here in Quebec City makes the "Chuck's Creamer"...get it? That's right, it's a tube screamer type circuit with better tone and low end response. Clever name, been on my board since 2008 😄
The trick is to cut the SPAM thick, pan fry it enough that the edges are crispy, slice of American cheese, on two pieces of the cheapest bread you can buy. Or, cube it up real small, scramble some eggs, make fried rice with them
@@tungtobak there are certainly better options. I would say, if you use a more quality cheese, stay in the more mild and buttery category. SPAM is essentially a very salty ham product (without getting very specific), so anything that's too salty or funky would likely not compliment that.
The best pedal names come from Indonesia (you have to try them, Josh!). Made by Sehat Effectors, it's called Masjidil Echo (taken from a habit, in Indonesia, that every mosque always put ridiculous amount of echo for everything - speech, call for pray etc).
