    Hey guys have you ever tried the sunskin concept? Thats a budget friendly pen machine as well

    Hey, I also got the Prime 4.2. Unfortunately, I'm not so satisfied. For lines, I miss the hit feeling compared to other machines. That's how I feel. Visually and in terms of quality, I love them.

      @ThatTattooShow  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’ve not tried the 4.2 yet, however the 3.5 I’ve found I’m able to line fine with it from a 3rl right up to a 21 open liner.
      What voltage are you running it at? I usually run mine are 8-9v for line work.

      Remove the return spring and you will notice a harder hit.

    i have the machien aswell it seems super awesome mate! can i ask you real quick please..
    What have you lined with the machine, on what volt range? I cant really line with it i feel like i need to press ALOT..
    Also, it kinda sounds like a BOMB when hitting arrow and + poweron for jumpstart, and somehow i accidently all the time do that so i have to explain customers wtf that BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEEEEEP sound is hahah :D

      What voltage are you running the machine and what carts are you lining with?

      @@ThatTattooShow 7-8V, been trying out alot of carts, ELITE's,kwadron,cheyenne's. Thats why im wondering ive heard from others aswell they just cant line with it.. but it might be because machine is so light haha

      So I’ve got a video coming out in one of the podcast episodes. Where I’m using the prime 3.5 machine and I’ve tested it for line work.
      Using a fake skin and 3 different brands of needles. Cheyenne, EZ revo and Tatsoul. I was able to line with a range of needles going from 3rl to 21open liner. Myself I usually run the machine at around 8-9 volts depending on what I’m doing and i have zero issues with lining. However it is something you need to adjust to slightly as it’s a brushed motor with a swash plate.

      @@ThatTattooShow thank you so mutch! i will try it out again. I always use my vlad blad ultron 2 for all line work, but i hate having to setup to machines. So would be more easy to just use the prime 3.5 :D thanks

      @@user-sz7oy1nm1v I'm also having problems with the lines with the Prime 4.2. It makes it difficult for me to work. I think it's because of the swashplate system.

    There are too many good and cheap chinese alternative option now and the golden age for overpriced big brands is ended. I think FK Irons One and the Prime may be the new trend.

      I agree. Tattoo machines will always have a price ceiling as the tech is probably as advanced as it’ll ever get now.
      Like, how many time can you improve a hammer before there’s nowhere left to go, right?

  • @olegbarth928

    If you remove the little spring, its gonna hit harder and have more give. And the battery will last a bit longer.

    • @tricArt7
      @tricArt7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Maybe it's enough to replace the spring with a weaker one. The machine should definitely not be operated without a spring. At least not without a needle cartridge. For me, I realized I could do anything with her. It's just a little different compared to a Directdrice.

      @@tricArt7 of course there are some. but for those two you mentioned, I can tell you 20 that don't have one.but that's not worth discussing. The fact is that it works with or without return spring. everyone can do it the way they like.
