Love the Stelvio! We own a 2019 spec'd out just like this one, only black metallic exterior and red leather interior. I can tell anyone looking at last year's model, the ONLY things they changed were the body-colored trim around the wheels and rocker panels versus last year's black plastic. This body colored trim was only available on the Quadrifoglio before. The console is mildly updated and it has a touch screen, instead of just the rotary pad. They kept the rotary pad though, which was smart because touch screens and performance vehicles don't mix very well in my opinion. All other features, including the leather dash and stitching were available in older models. They always had the dual zone climate system, etc.. Calling these things updates might confuse people who may find a screaming deal on last year's model (or earlier).
@@andrewgonzalez4090 You are welcome. Sometimes reviewer's exuberance can outrun the facts a little! Good luck in your search. After our first year, we love our Stelvio and our Giulia.
With regard to "Interior Material Improvements" the car you're testing has the optional interior leather package which gives you leather door tops and leather dash...this was also available on the 2018 - 2019 Stelvios and standard on the Quads...it is not a common option in the non Quad cars....it really makes the interior POP !! The big interior improvement is the gear shift lever and the elimination of the cheap plastic around the gear shift lever on the center console vs the early cars...
Hey man, what you said at 7:25 was incorrect. The unlock button is passively engaged when you grab the handle. The sensor is located on the back part of the handle. I have a 2017 Giulia and that's how its done
If you grab the handle, you can hit the unlock sensor behind the handle and the lock button on the front at the same time. This can be confusing until you realize that they are two separate things in two separate locations.
At 1:15....hold on dawg....BIG EXTERIOR CHANGE...no more black plastic cladding over the wheel wells and the rocker panels as well as the rear lower bumper facias.....as "Sleepy Joe" would say.."C'mon man" !!!
A few incorrect items in this video. You can unlock the door just by opening it with the key in your pocket. You don’t have to,press the button. Some of the items you mentioned are extras. Some extras you did not mention like kick to open lift gate. There is a hidden compartment under the light controls. The infotainment system is very laggy! Etc. many more items... also never apologize to the camera. No need. You are doing well!
Yes i know about the keyless entry but it wasn’t working on this one for some reason. Didn’t find the infotainment that laggy at all, only odd thing was it got very hot.
Is the screen really fast? Looks like it responds with a delay of one second, bizarre. Somebody here who has this version and could share his experience? Thanks.
Compared to the previous system it’s pretty good, only weird thing i experience was the screen itself being hot to the touch, could be why it appeared a slight laggy. If you are comparing it to newer advanced systems like idrive7 or MBUX it definitely is slower
Yup. Huge quality improvement over the previous system, but still slow to touch response, maybe they will fix it with future software updates. Not a show stopper for me anyway.
I have a 2018 and having problem with sensor. It’s keep on alerting me about my trunk is open when it’s not. I keep it park in my drive cause I can’t take dinging sound and just drive my bettle Vw annoyed
@@michaelv6870 not as bad as this thing. Maserati interiors are decent. Can they rival mercedes hell no they're more on par with a chrysler 300. But there ok. This thing litterally has a interior that felt worse then a civic from 10 years ago. Litterally the look is there but when you touch anything it feels like you can flick it and it'll break
First I thought its Windy, but his hairs still, so next is his hands are shaking of various possible reasons including health-related, but its actually a shitty front-facing camera. Need a better camera, first investment to run any online video channel.

Thanks for the run down! I am currently looking at getting a pre-owned Stelvio and will take this into consideration when shopping :)

What they update is the feel of the switches and quality. This should been done at the beginning.
@@biagiooliverio8049 Anything beyond the already mentioned center console?
teerexness No. They only changed the centre console and infotainment. The old is fine by the 2017. It was never low quality.
Just got me one today n it's this color 🎉🎉
Just got my 2020 in the Montecarlo Blue❤ living it so far...still learning all the features
Love the video, one thing I recommend is to slow down when your talking and moving the camera around, it felt very rushed
I thiink he need a GoPro with a Stabilizer and a mic too.
everything has been fixed 😂 watch my newer reviews

Definitely! They also worked on the steering wheel and other plastics throughout the car!
The LED cabin lights are plenty bright at night... in fact I enjoy the soft white light. They don’t overwhelm the driver.
love LED lighting these days, really makes the interior pop
I'm a huge fan of this dark metallic green. Very Euro and very classy... I wish Audi hadn't done away with it recently.
verde visconti
Way to show Jakub and Yuri some love! Great review!
@thestraightpipes are some of the best!
Nice video very detailed 👍🏻

This review is extremely informative, enjoyed!
I also drive Subaru and I'm thinking about buying stelvio

Meravigliosa Alfa Romeo 🍀
Top Suv in the world...Stelvio
Nice Exciting review

hmmm interesting maybe it wasn’t working on this car then because i tried that and it wouldn’t work for me.

Reliability ?
Nice review. I like very much how you presented the car.

they look so much better in person without the cladding
In love on Stelvio!

a 2020 without paddles??? what the hell did they buy? o mamma mia! no way at all. real premium car with no competitors. sempre bellissima!
Break by wire is terrific. It takes very little getting used to.
personally not a fan

FAKE!
How’s the fuel economy❓❓❓❓
Fine video. But what is the music for. Turn it off….
2018 still looks the best to me. The body kits get slightly less attractive each yr.
Still light yrs ahead of comp brands though
Beautiful vehicle!
If my commute wasn't 120 miles everyday I would've bought this car 😭😢😓
please for the next review get a pair of trousers!
I feel dizzy, do not put the camera on your head!
it wasn’t... was very windy out. Have a new gimbal now, this was old video
The last interior was absolutely awful. Litterally I think it was one of the cheapest feeling interiors in a newer car.
this is worlds different! thank god
It`s the same with the Maseratis. Test drove a Quattroporte a while back, felt like a Dodge Caravan.

if you watch any more recent videos i corrected this with a new gimbal. 🤷🏼♂️
