    Growing a print shop from the start is tough. This is your HUSTLE phase. Where you're grabbing land (aka "sales") as quickly as you can.
    Establishing a business process and repetitive marketing/sales funnel is important when achieving $250k in annual sales. In this video, we'll discuss a pathway to getting there. It isn't easy but it's 100% doable.

    Thanks tons, Bruce! I love your education videos and interviews, more please! :)
    I started out just me, not knowing much about screenrprinting other than using the Speedball kit for my husband's band's shirts. Now I have a Ranar press w/ a flash dryer and am getting a lot more work through word of mouth, and am SO happy when someone says "You were recommended by lots of people I know" ... and I don't even know this person. Yay! The business is still just me, but I know about 1000x more than I used to. I had no idea the size of the learning curve in this business, but it's tons of fun, and I look forward to every day.
    I quit the small part time jobs I had doing other stuff so I could focus 100% on my print shop, and it's doubled the amount of work I'm getting. I usually start my day by listening to Printavo interviews to keep my focus and THINK BIG!
    Thanks again!

      That's great to hear Jamie! Thanks so much for the kind words. Keep pushing forward, promoting your business and set revenue goals. Once you hit them, plan on how you're going to hire someone to take load off your hands (the printing aspect would be a good first step).

      Been on Printavo now for about 6 months and it’s made a massive difference in how my shop runs. For those who are starting out, the amount of time you’ll save with Printavo is VAST. Just sign up with the starter version. Just do it! It comes out to $5 per business day. That’s it.

    I have worked in the silk screening business all my life and he is right you can make it if you know what your doing and even if you don't start out small and focus. I witnessed this once with a company my boss started years ago called Black Flys which originated at Flecky Silkscreens. They made millions. I was the bookkeeper for Dan Flecky back then.

    Very informative video ! What if we have some ink and mesh count option ? Especialy if we take order from website. Some people want a very soft, soft, or standard handfeel

      Hey Leo! Thanks! We would suggest offering "premium ink" or "softest shirts," for example, at an extra charge! It's a great opportunity to educate your customers about the different inks and printing styles.

    Great info man! I've been coasting on word of mouth for years. Its finally waning a little and getting me nervous. Time to join the 21centery i guess ha..
    What is the first thing you would do if you were already established but had zero online presence?

    • @printavo
      @printavo  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely!
      1. Get a website with wix.com setup
      2. Get all social media setup
      3. Use the same branding across all web platforms
      4. Print your business cards and start handing them out!
      We've got more information on this coming out soon.

    What was the name of the virtual assistant you mentioned? Was it 'romista' or something along those lines? Thanks for the quality tips.

    What do you mean by "follow up until you get a no"? Is that after you've completed their initial order? Check in to see if they need to re-order? Every two days seems a little excessive. No?

    • @printavo
      @printavo  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Jorge! If someone reaches out to you for a large order, it's important to continue following up with them to close the deal. You can set a schedule like 1, 3, 6, 14, 30, etc days to follow-up.
      Definitely, check-in with customers if they'd like to reorder as well!

    • @jorgeyogues788
      @jorgeyogues788 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Printavo got it. I have trouble with following up. I feel like I'm being pushy. I need to work on that. Thanks for your response! We just moved onto a 2200 s.f. space and are going to be using Printavo! Keep up the good work and the videos!

    • @printavo
      @printavo  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Instead of feeling pushy, you can always ask about next steps. "Hi John, Thanks for chatting about your quote for the high school baseball team. Are you ready to move forward before the season starts?"
