  • Screen printing T-shirts isn’t the only option for entrepreneurs who want to get into the screen printing business. Locknane Inc. got its start printing vinyl aprons for grocery stores and expanding into corporate promotions grew their revenue to an average of $400K/month. We’ll hear their story, tips, and growth strategies in this video.
    Brent Locknane is the third-generation owner of Locknane Inc., which was started by his grandfather back in 1946. His wife joined the business in 2006 to help launch Lock Promo, adding jackets, face masks, and other apparel to the products they customize for customers. Today, we’ll find out how and why Locknane expanded their services, and what processes and systems have kept their core business going strong for 75 years-an impressive track record for a business in any industry.
    Marketing is crucial for any business, and Brent’s sales skills have been a big part of his success in silk screen printing. We’ll hear his advice for bringing in new corporate screen printing customers, and how their advertising and marketing approach changed when the company launched Lock Promo. Getting new customers is only part of this equation-it’s just as important to keep existing clients coming back for more. We’ll learn Locknane’s secret to a top-notch customer experience and how that’s helped them build long-term relationships with national brands like KFC and Costco.
    Whether you’re already a business owner or want tips on screen printing for beginners, Brent has some very valuable advice to share! You can learn more about Locknane, Inc. online at jo-lock.com/.

    I used to work in a clothing factory I did everything except actually sew the clothes. There are machines that you can put the material on an will use a computer program to cut things to shape automatically they are awesome machines but very expensive.

    • @AJohnson0325
      @AJohnson0325 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      But if you don’t buy one then you are competing against people that do have one. Once you have specialized machinery, your cost per item made should go down (economy of scale) and your prices will be lower than the people that don’t have one and be more competitive in getting customers. I think of it like a machine shop. Nobody who uses a manual mill is going to be able to compete with someone that has multiple 5-axis machines.
