- When construction work has upset the passengers the Fat Controller has a plan to bring them back onside that involves Murdoch and an old branchline, but what happens when he hears rumours about ghostly going on at the site? Sit back and engine Murdoch's Grand Adventure!

I hope other characters who didnt have much of a character or personality have attention like neville stanley and molly as their only qualities are being new or nervous

9Fs have an axle load of 15.5 tons, so that’s unlikely.

1. That's in long tons (2240lbs per ton). In short tons (the modern standard for the imperial ton) it's actually 17.4 tons.
2. Considering that, that's over half of a typical US main-line locomotive, and tracks in the UK are made to a significantly lighter spec.

Personally, I would have picked an engine of Edwards size, or smaller for the project. A big heavy engine on abandoned track doesn't sound too good

Big agree. Murdoch seems out of place doing restoration and clearing work on poorly laid track. Edward put it best: "Of course you didn't hear about it! Big engines don't do branchline work!"
Murdoch’s basis is actually lighter than he looks. Though big, he is actually capable of going on Thomas’ branchline since his axle load is 15.5 tons I think

I'd say STH has gotten a bit more than he bargained for on this little adventure... Least he's getting Murdoch more and more out of his comfort zone, put him through his paces. 😉

Murdoch is legit my favorite character of all time.
He's my favorite character too since he is an orange steam engine, and that includes for myself other Thomas and Friends characters which are all my favorite, since I am interested in trains 🚃🚂

I really enjoyed the camera work.
That said - the reveal was kind of lame. I don't think an engine sneezing would be enough to open a pair of shed doors. It would have made more sense for the Fat Controller to investigate the shed himself.
Brings back memories of my childhood. I always liked the old Thomas the Train shows better than the new ones. They were more intelligent.
I love it, when poeple give lesser characters more spotlight. It's a shame that they were just made foe toys😔.

First, the chinese dragon 🐉🐲 scared Percy The Small Engine, and second the old rusty engine in the shed scared Murdoch The Orange Engine
First, Percy The Small Engine started to get lonely at night while the owl 🦉 scared him, and second Murdoch The Orange Engine was resting in the siding at night while the owl 🦉 scared him
