The momentum of this brand goes with a particular client segment; beside the price point, you don’t go from FP Journe or Patek Philippe to Jacob & Co as a collector in my opinion.

I would love to see Jacob & Co. focus more on complicated traditional watches. They clearly have the technical know-how to make some of the most complicated watches in the world but I feel they are holding themselves back with this ostentatious, new-money design language. Its a shame given the level of engineering and craftsmanship that goes into these.

there's thousands of brands that do traditional watches and yet few brands dare do what they make. Old money designs are great but the market is incredibly saturated in that type of watch.
