Love this thinking - nothing is everywhere in music... the space before someone plays the piano the breath before a quartet begins, that joins performers and the audience together in the same moment... John Cage's 4'33'' where the 'nothing' in the piece allows for connection to something greater, something profound beyond the immediate sense of that particular piece. Have noticed that people I admire are often those who know how to use the 'nothing' and don't fill space all the time. They listen . as well as offering something...
How many of you noticed a guy sitting in front row chewing that chewingum thinking about nothing and listening to something which is nothing and the existance of this thought is nothing and the beggining of it is also nothing and the end will be nothing which is about nothing or something which is nothing and you might be thinking nothing or maybe something which is none other but equal to nothing or nothing but something
