I have a video for newtime here: th-cam.com/video/ZSglrp4u3bY/w-d-xo.html I don't actually have newtone because it's not provided in the edition of FL Studio I own, and I'm too broke to upgrade lol I want to upgrade sometime soon but I also want to have gas to get to work 😅 I do, however, have a video on Edison here: th-cam.com/video/Aw3wJjAzGVQ/w-d-xo.html As for vocals specifically I've honestly never been a fan of using Edison for editing vocals. It does have some cool stuff that's good for vocal edits, but it's just never been a good workflow for me personally. Doesn't mean it doesn't work well, just not my cup of tea, so I don't have any tips or tricks for vocals specifically. Hope some of this is helpful!!
Lol it’s all the cutting when I edited the video! Glad to be of help! Hope you’re well bro 🤙 appreciate you watching and always stopping by in the comment section 💪
@@ScaleAudio gota question for you why wen I open a file I downloaded and open it in Fl it show the file but wen I open it its looks like outline of a paper then .mse or .dll and so on I have all these files I got and I cant use them I don't get it brotha
@@papirico2227 In the most basic sense, .dll files are program files. You could open your plug-in manager and scan the folder that has your .dll files and they may be recognized as plugins you can use. The .mse files are most likely supporting files that are required by the .dll file it’s associated with to run properly. If you unzipped a pack I wouldn’t change the file structure to make sure the .mse file is read by the appropriate .dll.
@@ScaleAudio thank you so much for getting back to me as soon as you could so basically you're saying that I didn't download them wrong if I'm getting that correct right? I'll leave it the way they are? And just go to the plugin manager and rescan them?
@@papirico2227 I doubt you downloaded it wrong. I usually shove them in a special folder for organizational purposes and add that folder to my plug-in manager and then scan. Again. If the files come in a folder with the .mse files I wouldn’t change that file structure. Changing it could break the .dll plug-in.
Sorry for the late reply! The beginning of this video will probably answer all your questions! th-cam.com/video/Z6fbGb8DR_4/w-d-xo.html Hope that’s helpful!

Happy to help in any way I can! Thanks for watching and commenting 💪
It'd be great if you could do an in-depth look at edison, newtone and newtime for editing vocals. It feels overwhelming and unintuitive.
