Android: there will be a severe thunderstorm incoming, please seek shelter I.o.s: ITS GONNA RAIN ITS GONNA FUCKING RAIN GET TF INSIDE YOU LAZY PIECE OF SHI-
There are differences between them, iPhone and android sound the same type of frequency pitch but the lines are different. The iPhones line frequency is square line and the android line frequency is sine line which is regular sound of the pitch. Again they are both the same pitch frequency’s but different type of line
What do you mean by that? That iPhone's signal is digital and Android's is analog? AFAIK all sound is analog and if you are playing any song or video, for example, the signal needs to be converted from a digital wave to an analog wave. That's why you have a DAC (Digital to Analog converter).
@@LeanzazzyIt's the "Shape" of these simple sounds. Sime waves sound more muffled and can be commonly heard in a hearing test, an equalizer shows it as a curvy line. A square wave (as can be guessed from the name) appears as a row of blocks on an equalizer, it's usually heard in old video game consoles such as the Nintendo Entertainment System.
What I have notice between the two is the android one is a bit quieter than the iPhones. The iPhones beeping is two times louder than the android ones are
samsung is literally the exact samea as the attention tone, an 853hz and 960hz sine wave played at the same time, iphone is square waves, so slightly different
The android version comes directly from the TV/Radio EAS attention tone whereas the iPhone version use the exact same frequencies but has a more distorted tone. quite interesting how the iPhone differs from the android.
the android also has the vibration sound as the same note as the alert Alert: beeeeeep beep beep beeeeeeeep Vibration: Vrrrrrrr vrr vrrr vrrrrrrrr. Does the iPhone has that? Android: 🚨 iPhone: 📢
Eas alarms are always on from default, some phone companies are not compatible with them, but all phones without a sim card or with a compatible sim card will have activated from factory eas, but also some countries don't have eas alarms, and are actually sirens, or nothing at all. So, it kinda deppends. Like, Colombia doesnt have EAS alarm, so if theres a nuclear bomb coming and you're not tuned to a tv or radio, your dead.
But the android one vibrates 📳 that means when you are at a restaurant and everyone is talking very loud that means you may not hear the sound but you can feel it because it vibrates! So the android one is more alarming
Android: hey someone got kidnapped
Apple: ALERT ALERT ALERT CMON WE GOTTA GO FIND THE MISSING CHILD

Yhea but still android is the winner😂

iPhones have a sound file which is the same for androids, the default one ofcourse is in the video but for Chile, the iPhone has android sound.
Can you please explain that? I have no idea what that means.
During COVID-19 pandemic, I keep hearing this sound
What I have notice between the two is the android one is a bit quieter than the iPhones. The iPhones beeping is two times louder than the android ones are
the android one sounds like its be recorded with another device or somethien
The Iphone one literally scares the shit off me
both scare the crap out of me
real
I use apple and I got these emergency alerts 3 times this year and it sounds terrifying
Android is a little less scary and aggressive which makes me jealous of android users
@@C_Chillerbro it’s just a sound, You barely even get it
@Lamptern_Serf yeah it happened to me 2 times
Android is high pitched
Iphone is high quality
Samsung EAS: 853hz and 960hz sine wave
Apple EAS: Same thing, but with square waves to make it *extra* alarming
My phone ringed in class while a test was done and I got fucking scared
In bulgaria was like that minutes ago
@@The.Ghost.0_0 Wow, cool
Same it ringed in my class
@@evergarcia3742 oof
0:03 My home city in Northeast Ohio had a f**king tornado warning while this alert was activated a few days ago. Thank god nobody was hurt!
iPhone EAS sounds just like the EAS from the TV
iPhone basically has the second half of the United State’s Eas
samsung is literally the exact samea as the attention tone, an 853hz and 960hz sine wave played at the same time, iphone is square waves, so slightly different
No android does
Yeah! But without the S.A.M.E headers.
Android sounds like the EBS tones from the 80s...however, my Galaxy S22 ultra sounds more like the iPhone
Android: *_vibrating_*
iPhone: Somebody k1lled of child abduction!
In Slovakia we never get these because in Central and Eastern Europe we don't have Amber alerts
Same thing. On Android, it includes tts
I heard this several times during hurricane Helene and I’m probably gonna hear it even more during Milton
Edit (10/7/2024): Heard it 3 times so far
I Got An Amber Alert At 2 In The Morning While I Was Sleeping And It Scared The Hell Out Of Me
Android EAS Alarm is quiet.
It’s more soft than iPhone, iPhones eas’s are more sharp yk?
@@ydet00yeah I think that they’re the same eas tones just at a lower or higher pitch
i assume the uploader made it more quiet, there's no way it's that quiet lmao that wouldn't grab anyones attention.
@@StarvinJar its square and sine waves
@@lightbrownwolf It's not as extreme as in the video, but the sound really is more quiet on Android devices
Does anyone else get these alarms around 10 at night when you're trying to fucking sleep?
Android Sounds like a iPhone eas alarm but Pretty Loud
Apple’s eas sound is horrifying as fuck 🙏🙏
BRO 😱, we’re supposed to take a history quiz!! (I’m totally not shaking, totally didn’t get jumpscared, totally not based on a true story)
Simon Swipe low pitch has a beep sound
I hope you get 10K subscribers
I don't want to
I could see why. Being popular could be overwhelming sometimes.@@Pearloryx
This how it goes.
Andriod: ayo bro some guy got kidnapped.
Apple: WAKE THE CLUCK UP A KID GOT TAKEN COME ON MOTHERFU-

I was in Illinois today and I heard that exact iPhone sound lol cuz tornado reasons lol
Strategic launch detected
I thought they had the same exact tone
they sound the same but android is a little bit low quality. i prefer the ios one
The android version comes directly from the TV/Radio EAS attention tone whereas the iPhone version use the exact same frequencies but has a more distorted tone. quite interesting how the iPhone differs from the android.
What do you think is more scary?
Android or IOS
IOS which I use
the android also has the vibration sound as the same note as the alert
Alert: beeeeeep beep beep beeeeeeeep
Vibration: Vrrrrrrr vrr vrrr vrrrrrrrr. Does the iPhone has that?
Android: 🚨
iPhone: 📢
1.10.24 in israel
Before the iranian attack we got the exact emergency alert sound on our iOS device
Im so sad I couldn't screenshot the alert smh
yeah, so it's the same tone, just different sound waves.
android: sine
iphone: square
Difference is that android is quieter and iphone is way louder
Im an apple user and Im jealous of android because they get a less scary eas sound
Another difference with Android is that it also vibrates with the EAS tone
The iPhone one isn't that scary. But the Android one is like 100% scary
Its the other way around in my opinion
@Lamptern_Serf same bc iphone uses square wave and is way louder than android which uses sine wave
@@Erixto724I believe android uses current alert volume on phone, whereas iPhone always uses the default max volume
0:02 is best
Doesn't it go back and forth from a higher pitch to a lower pitch?
I can't tell anything about sound, but Android one looks scary
Who else got a ad for this video
Can someone tell me how to turn on eas for android
Depends on which phone model you have and where you live

ANY FLORIDIANS?
android scarier
Apple is scarier in my opinion because apple’s emergency alert sounds more aggressive

To bad iphone is BETTER then us 😢

Iphones have better security and are faster but androids have more apps and a less scary emergency alert sound
Android vibrates but iphone has more aggressive beeping
Android lower sound
iPhone louder sound
Android is scary
