@@zUltraXO the "system has been destroyed" error is caused by modifying your phone with bad parts and/or damaged parts, it doesn't mean the system is destroyed, it means that the phone *destroyed* the system to prevent modding the phone
@@thekeyboardwarrior1018 completely wrong and it has absolutely nothing to do with hardware. It is caused by corrupt firmware/brick, most often caused by improper custom ROM/Recovery flashing like flashing an unstable rom or wrecking the partitions, while other times Xiaomi is a genius and bricks their own devices through OTA updates
@@thekeyboardwarrior1018 You probably never owned a Xiaomi before. I was struck with that message when Xiaomi relesased a corrupted OTA update on Redmi 7A. It can be fixed easily, you don't even need to unlock the bootloader. The phone cant destroy itself, it's dumb.

I had an android that ran 6.0.1 and it would show those weird green robots as icons on the boot screen

I now have a Oppo A16k because my LG G4 gets break in 2021 and i get a phone in 2021 but again the phone in 2021 gets broken in 2022 so i recently get a new phone

you missed some:
1. old samsung "connect to Kies & retry"
2. new samsung "use the emergency recovery in smart switch pc software"
3. stock samsung recovery "Can't load Android system. Your data may be corrupt."
4. samsung odin flash error (like "sw rev check fail")
5. samsung bootloader exception
and xiaomi one with "the system has been destroyed press power button to shutdown"

Basically the small tux means that there's only linux files left on your android (and to save it you need to flash an stock android rom) the big tux means all android and some linux files are corrupted (i haven't seen that yet) and the tux with orange exclamaiton mark means that all of android files and the android can barely boot up because most if not all linux files are corrupted (bye bye android phone/phablet/tablet)
Why only Samsung and Sony? Look at Xiaomi's MIUI: "The system is destroyed, please turn off the device" Message.
Seeing it say *_DESTROYED_* instead of corrupted never fails to make me laugh
Sounds like it would be a fake anti-piracy console error where the console straight up deletes everything so you're done.

It doesn't always happen when you install custom ROM only if you install ROM that's not compatible with the device you can run into problems or get corrupt os

There are many different versions like the os can't be checked for corruption or you device has loaded another os

Kernel panic can be fixed by rebooting, until it occures again. Usaly a bug in the lernel or in a driver, any code executed near ring 0 really

These arent scary, but one time i was watching a console killscreen vid like a year ago and all i could hear when i was powering through the parts that could make me cry was my heart going boom... boom... boom... i was scared beyond being able to sleep and beyond the point to where i freeze in place like it was real and i had just froze and died like an xbox.

What can you do if your OS is corrupted? Is the device still usable or is it hopeless?
Try installing a ROM i guess?
Unless you have access to VCOM mode (for Mediatek devices) or EDL mode (Qualcomm devices) and can flash a stock ROM from there, you're f*cked.
Restart your device it can sometimes fix it or you can try resetting the device all data stored will be gone or you can reinstall the os
I got corrupt os on my old phone and invalid os because I was so dumb and I did not look at my phone about when I installed ROM that was incompatible
the horror for mediatek variant i've been known just something related on imei and wifi, when you tinker those phone with that chip in it (in my case asus zc520tl, acer liquid e700) the nvram error code on the wifi section including on system info. for newer devices like xiaomi redmi 9c it's just silent until you gets shocked when the imei or even something just not working properly or just isn't there. (as always, take a good advice & guidance from internet to fix it)

@@wiliwilo because sometimes when you drop the device something can happen that causes the device to think that they basically ran into some issue so it does that every time dropped my old phone it would just restart or sometimes they would get corrupt OS but I rarely got that now

BOYS, SHUT, that error happens when the device gets modified with a bad part(example: corrupted RAM) and/or has a bad/failed part, the error message doesn't mean that the bad part destroyed it, it means that the device *destroyed* the operating system to prevent modding and/or hacking the device, it wipes out literally everything off of the storage, the BIOS, the OS, literally everything, it still is fixable but it takes a very long time to download the BIOS again

Huawei phones before 2019 use android, so you could make a version based on Huawei Technologies before 2018 (you can make one if you get android images, the huawei phone i use is y6 2018)

I’ve gotten the update failure screen from some LG phone that was bricked
The corrupted error and no vaild os error is a warning of the oprating system if you didnt know android goes through something called a boot flow when you boot up your phone it checks the os to make sure its safe to use without issues if it detected corruption or missing files or if the boot loader os unlocked it will show corrupt screen since your data maybe exposed to hackers or corruption if yo uunlocked the boot loader if android can't detect the os sor.the os is missing or corrupted it will show no vaild os of the device cant get to these warning screens then it will show a penguin on your screen dont worry this usually happens when you change the OS boot settings through the boot loader or install custom roms or operating systems this is rare to happen on its own but it still could be safe guys dont download random roms or change the boot settings throught the boot loader or recovery this could damage your phone but you can fix this if you lovk the botk loader factory reset or reflash new rom this could fix it
