At the time of this video, the Base Platform that I had for my Big Shot had 2 tabs that you could open and close based on what you wanted to do. If you don't have a tabbed platform, you'd build whatever sandwich you usually use for die-cutting.
The post-it notes are sticky, holding the die in place. Lining the top cutting board up with the fold ensures that the die does not cut where you don't want it too.
very nice, Jessica. Thank you for such a clear explanation of how to do this. Great video!

fantastic tutorial ...... thank you so much!!
Jessica - trying as we watch! What stamp set are the flowers from?
Those flowers are from a very old Stampin' Up! stamp set called Upsy Daisy.
Thanks for that. I keep forgetting how to do that!
So sweet. Thank you.
Leave all the tabs closed....what does that mean?

I'm not sure what the on the edge plates are, so I'm not sure! Give them a try and let us know.
che tipo di "scotch" usi per far si che la fustella non tagli la parte che non ti serve tagliata? Grazie e scusa se scrivo in italiano..

ok thank you very very much
very creative
Super je vais essayer merci pour le tuto :-)
Why not open it, place the little cutty thing only on that first part, only half of the cutty thing tho?
Sorry Claudia, I'm not understanding what your question is.
The way you put the shape cutter tru the big shot, why not totaly unfold your card, put only half of the cutter one that first part of the folds?
Claudia Maracle I did it the way I did so that the card would swing open. Definitely try it the way you are thinking and see how it works!
Nice
