    From Day 1, harbinger had proven to do a great job on subs/speakers production. Don't get fooled by the new brand name These are great gears. 100% clarity. 100% bass, 100% affordable price tag.
    I guess by 2025 the harbinger would be battling with giants like JBL qsc and name the rest. I usually upgrade during black Friday's sales and had never regretted a penny.

    I just bought 2 of these from Guitar Center in the used scratch and ding section for $270 a piece with the 3 year warranty. With the warranty if it quits working I take it in and they just swap for another one. Anyway using the stereo link these sound amazing. With a mixer or an EQ these can be made to sound really rich for Jazz.

    Suggestion for your reviews: Get a decent SPL meter, and run pink noise through the speaker you're testing at a set level, and measure the SPL at specific distances (1 meter, 5 meters, 10 meters) to give a sense of how loud the speaker you're testing can be. Just a volume test, won't give any qualitative indication of THD or anything like that, but is a bit of data about overall sound output.

    Have you noticed pretty loud static/white noise on yours when nothing is playing or even connected (power only)? I just got two of these and BOTH of them have this same issue. I'm not sure if this is normal or what, and what are the chances that two speakers share the same issue? My older Vari 2215s made very little noise compared to these 2315s...

    • @jcomusicproductions
      @jcomusicproductions  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As a matter of fact, I occasionally use my EV 30m’s (soon to present a review video on them) for bigger events like weddings etc. most definitely a bigger difference in price range and structure of the speaker but difference in wattage output, too. This is what I tell people though, at the end of the day don’t look at the price, rather, look at what these different speakers have that will allow you to do the job that you need them to do for what ever it may be you’re catering them for; band, DJ, stage monitors, etc. In my opinion, Harbinger has come a long way, so when these bad boys came out, I knew it was their time to shine and compete with other leading brands/competitors. Truthfully, if you ask me, for the price range of these specific speakers, sound quality, and build quality…it’s a win win!

    My main concern with these new sensationalized speakers at these prices is that I want to know the real power. The RMS. The peak power is okay to know. But I want to know how it's going to perform when you put the band into it. I'm tired of seeing "1000w" and the things can't even handle a 3 pc band without dropping out and limiting. I may try these. But from my experience, these lower priced, higher peak power speakers are great for DJ applications but terrible for live bands that need kick and clean headroom.

    • @jcomusicproductions
      @jcomusicproductions  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting observation! I have yet to try them for band sound purposes, but as a DJ myself, I can say they do the job well for that reason. Overall, these are new speakers to me since I've had an older brand for a long while, but it all comes down to whichever speakers or set-up that meet your musical needs!!

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I GOT THE 12" speaker, sounds very loud, i use it with my Line 6 Pod Hd, was concerned about the RMS because you can see 2000W PEAK but not how much RMS is it, well i think by my own experience, this ones are between 500W and 1000W, for me is very good because i only use it with my effect processor at my rehearsals or my gigs and sometime at my home with the bluetooth, but if you want power to handle more than one channel for big presentations i recomend to try before buy

    • @xaviermachado57
      @xaviermachado57 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have 2 15s and use them only for monitors for a 9 pc band in a very loud stage setting and no complaints, they were actually very loud and clear, they impress me everytime, if you want more punch you need to add a sub and always remember, gain setting is crucial to keeping your equipment from clipping. I def agree with you on peak power marketing to attract the customer, but we all know it probably doesnt put out 2000watts.

  • @aliinuijake5191

    Great video and review! 👍🏽 I have a few questions on it's description.
    Is the speaker rechargeable? If it is, how long to charge it?
    Is it Dual Audio?
    Is there any disruptive complications through the Bluetooth when you sync into the Master speaker and onto the 2nd speaker while playing?
    How long does it plays on a full battery?

    • @jcomusicproductions
      @jcomusicproductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      So to make it known, this is a powered speaker; both are. Plug n Play! They do not run on a battery to play (although there are other speakers made by the same brand or others that do) but rather ran through a power cable.
      Dual audio? In terms of playing both speakers at once, you would use an XLR or Quarter Inch cable to play both at once. With that being said, if you play Bluetooth on the Master Speaker and chain link to the 2nd speaker, then there should be no problem with the audio UNLESS you try to Bluetooth BOTH speakers at once, then it probably won't work. Pro tip: On your Bluetooth setting, re-name your speaker so you know which is the main one of your choice.
      Hope this helped!

I personally don't hang mine since I use speaker stands or on the floor as monitors, but if I am not mistaken most people use what's called 'Safety Cable Wires' to hang them on the ceiling or wall so they don't fall. I am not certain how they hang it, but I know they use those cables! Hope that helped!

      2) Unfortunately, you can only connect one device per speaker via Bluetooth && not both at the same time because it reads one at a time.

      Depending on your subwoofer, as in model wise, you'd plug in the 'output' to 'input' from Sub to Speaker. Always start plugging in from subwoofer. But I'd recommend using the new Harbinger subwoofer due to it's high wattage of 2400 power.

      To connect a wireless mic, you take either an XLR or Quarter inch cable, plug the male end to the speaker on any channel, 1 or 2, and the female end into the Transmitter box that sends the signal to the microphone then turn the Transmitter on, your wireless mic. on, make sure they on the same channel, and then BAM! you're set to go.

    What is the limit distance apart between the master speaker and the slave speaker for both to communicate between each other?

    • @jcomusicproductions
      @jcomusicproductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, to start, I use the term Master & Slave to re-name the Bluetooth setting on your phone/device for music because you can only cast Bluetooth to one speaker at a time and not both at once. Next, in terms of distance, it all depends on how long you want it to be. For example, you can run however long of an XLR cable you need depending on what you use the speakers for. BUT, in terms of distance for Bluetooth, I have never been that far away from the speaker to say how far to go until it stops casting sound. Hope this helped.
