Almost ready. This is going to be my most successful attempt at growing my own. Im very happy I just wish I would have started earlier so my plants would have got even bigger. It’s much easier just letting nature do it’s thing outdoors and keeping a watchful eye on them. 🙂
@@TuckFwitter thanks man. Last year I tried germinating and growing indoor using all kinds of crap. Not exactly intentionally organic but this year I dragged ass to get started. I just said screw it and just threw six seeds in a 6.5 gallon bucket on my back deck in reused miracle gro performance organics soil. I used tiger bloom the past three weeks which is organic apparently also. I’m licensed to use pesticides so I moved my plant/plants treated the surrounding area and inspected for bugs every morning and when I get home. I’m not sure if I had feminized seeds or just got lucky but all six were female. I’m going to harvest this weekend. 😃
Northern Lights is drying, Chocoloupe is almost at harvest as is OG Kush with Tangie having an issue with dead buds. The New York Diesel was a near complete loss as it auto-flowered from seedlings, and suffered dead buds as soon as trichomes started clouding. Making RSO with the ounce of deadbud.
I cut my buds at four weeks and they were quite potent. They got milky so I cut them and they are very smooth smoking with good mood emotional and physical effects
Resin production doesn’t really get high enough from just harvesting at the right time , it’s more complex than that . Resin (thc) can increase when you stress the plant out (properly and at the right times without stunting or killing it), and after you cure it properly . Genetics play a key part in how high the THC can go as well , but these can be a large range that usually is deceptive .
I followed your suggestions; 70% cloudy, 15 and 15 amber and the high is perfect. They’ve only been dry 2 weeks and are still a little moist. Love chlorophyll

A “second harvest “. We don’t flush so there are Nutes available for more maturing. It only costs a little time and you’ll know if it’s working relatively quickly. JM2¢
Yes I do a partial harvest to allow light penatration to the lower buds to allow them to fully flower then harvest unless u have a way to reflect light to the lower csnapoy of tall trees
Long story short you harvest when your white pistols turn brown and start curling towards the Bud thays when u harvest! If u say but sometimes more pistols come up is mostly because u leaving top long to flower
Question: can you harvest the big buds at the top of the plant first and let the smaller lower buds mature a bit more OR will the THC level be the same throughout the plant, and I should just accept the smaller buds as they are?
I did just that. I had pinched the tops so I had a double up top. Cut it off below the joint. That exposed the lower leaves to i let them go 2 more weeks. Great harvest. A little brown bud rot due to humidity and rain
smaller buds are a fact of life unless you use side light or another source to get the proper lighting down low. lolly pop em or scrogg em are other options.
The more amber the hi is max. As my sticky buds are ready, I like to wrap rolling papers around the buds and squeeze paper until it's soaked. Let them papers dry. Use warm water in Bong, For a cough free hit. Weed is nature's way of saying HI

Plus I want nothing at all to do with Nicotine either anymore , I was a up to three pack a day smoker at one point , and smoked ciggs for over 30 years , but quit them like 89 years ago now , couldn't be happier , but even when I smoked ciggs I kept the two separate , I don't like the taste at all of tobacco in weed .

Thank for good info, In a early harvest test the bottom part of a flower bud gives a different high that the top of the same bud. Lower is older and more mature, tip is new flowers and give you intense cottonmouth. A single bud can give different highs - in my testing. Anyone else notice this?
No. That's not how it works. Lower buds get less light and take longer to mature. A lot of growers harvest the top buds first to let light to the bottom to finish for another week or 2. If you have grown at least once you would know that. Stop spamming.

Incomplete info. You better put time taken in its stages , like how many days or weeks does it take to be perfectly matured from the time of its very flowering stage.
That’s what I want to know if they say the plant at full potency is 20% thc, if you pick it 2 weeks before/ after do you still get around 18% thc or 15%?

As a follow up, all is harvested dried, canned and burped. Weed is wonderful. No paranoia, just great body high. Harvest when Tric’s are cloudy

The top of my plant is ready to harvest but at the bottom i see new buds coming in and some not ready

A lot of growers do it that way. Also I have seen the smaller buds end up with higher THC content than the top buds when that is done.
