      growing pink runts and it likes to stretch alot i’m trying to get a good yield by using the small tote to stunt the upward stretch and make it grow out a lil then when it’s bigger and needing a bigger environment ill have the bigger tote to give it room to stretch up 🎉 totes are equipped with grow lights and fans and also act as incubators up until the flower stage when if they are female will get out with the other plants ready for a 12 on 12 off cycle , this allows me to keep plants in rotation too so when the plants i harvest are done with a new batch of plants will already be getting ready to go into harvest themselves 🤷🏽‍♂️💯🎉 happy grows and no not like milk totes lmao the big plastic totes you throw stuff in to move or put stuff into starage lmao

    Personally I think you're drying and curing tip is a bit off. The ideal humidity for the drying stage is around 56 to 62% @ around 65°-72°F for about 2 weeks, with air circulation. You want them to dry out extremely slow. And for the curing stage, if the drying stage was done properly and completely, Jar curing should only take another 2 weeks. The longer and slower the better of course. But I don't have any plants that have taken 8 whole weeks to be done.

      Aye. As do I. I’m thinking two 50 gallon plastic totes, stacked on top of each other, weather strip the cracks and use the 12-12 from seed method. DIY activated carbon filter system, LEDs, small fans, Velcro a device inside to give you the temperature and humidity readings. You need a PH tester. If not grown hydroponically, use 50%peat moss and 50% vermiculite. The vermiculite retains water and nutrients better than anything. Keep the PH at 5.5 during vegetative stage and 6.5 during flowering. Lots of light. 1500Mohl if possible but that’s the max. Keep the temp between 70-85 degrees. Cannabis is resilient enough to survive harsher elements but this is the targeted temps. I’ve been researching this awesome plant for 17 years and I have yet to grow one plant. I plan to make my first one count. If you want anything done correctly, you must do it yourself

    All these tips are great but in my opinion can only begin to understood after a cycle of trying it yourself. Just planted seeds for this years outdoor grow lets hope I can take last years lessons and apply them better. Also big tip is dont over-care for them (water/fertilizer), they are plants and are resilient to a lot of things. You probably wont get it right the first time. Have fun and good growing

    I have lost 9 seedlings in the last 3 months. 3 per month as that's all the law will allow. Personal growth is 3 plants. They all got to 1 inch and died.
    So I'm following your grow tactics. The seeds are not feminized. The only way I know of to test anothers knowledge is to try it. Follow your lead so.

    A bit oversimplified as you won’t be growing the perfect weed just jumbling these tips together , but it’s a start . Drying done right means you don’t need to burp the jars every day for the entirety of the curing process , just the first week or so . Also trimming doesn’t need to be done dry, it can be done wet. So many variables and nuances that can’t be taught in a short video

      nobody besides him in the world does... hes way too high.. 5-10 days to dry depending on temp, and a week of curing in a glass jar and burping the jar once or twice a day is ideal cure, but 2 days in a jar if its dried right will be fine this dudes crazy for that. everything else is pretty spot on though. excellent beginners guide.

    • @dantemagliari1073
      @dantemagliari1073 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I gave you bad info he is correct 100% a nice slow dry is always best for the plants, but I thought someone said he dries them for 8 weeks. once again nobody actually does this except for competitions maybe, buut 8 weeks is the longest you can cure a cannabis plant, I guess thats when its most full of terpenes, and you will get the smoothest/ cleanest smoke and also the full flavor of the strain... I may try it sometime, but not with the whole crob just a zip maybe or a half zip.. I actually am taking a quick break I'm harvesting for lights right now... One trey down and one left to go... maybe I'll try it after it dries and do a comparison... anyways, back to work homie!!

Can I transfer it into a pot and put it outside during daytime and inside during night? Cuz I read somewhere cannabis needs 12 hours darkness to start budding, so that I can easily move in to darkness when it's time to bud?

    If there is ambient light ie: moonlight and starlight, in the grow room, will that have any effect on the plants in veg or bloom ? I have a sky-light in the roof.

    • @joshs4483
      @joshs4483 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not in veg but maybe in bloom, depends on the variety and the strength of the genes in the seed. Nevertheless, I would recommend putting some panda film or some other light-blocking material over the skylight if possible. Sorry for the late reply, happy growing!
