I want a bear bad.. but in the area I hunt they aren’t there. My cousin has one on his camera about 5 or 6 miles from where I hunt. The bears just aren’t populated that much but we have a bear season. So how can I get a bears attention?
Hey Bernie any words of wisdom on getting bait sights established during long stretches of sporadic rain? Up here in Wisconsin zone B im a little late to the party but i got a few bait sights started seem to be in great locations but with rain on and off seems like its really washing away my scents and lures faster than i can refresh my sites. I know its just a matter of time until something finds one of these spots didn't know if u had any words of encouragement for me in the mean time?
Just have to stay with it. I have been going through a lot more spray this year because I have to hit the baits hard with Northwoods sprays after every rain and they just keep on coming!
I have been baiting bear in UP of Michigan! If it’s Preseason stick with the sprays! I use Liquid smoke spray with pump sprayer! Keep bait fresh if bear does show up an have moldy bread an rotten meat he isn’t going to stick around! We use Plastic drums stood up with a 12” hole towards the top so dont get wet and birds an coons aren’t just eating it! We have found peanut butter cookie are great with some type sweetener like pancake syrup! Smear Trees with Frosting! Good Luck!
I come from the Hugh Glass school of bear hunting: After the bear has charged and received my first musket ball to the shoulder, I allow a dozen or so swipes of the paws to my head, neck, and body. 🐻 Only then do I use my knife with which I repeatedly stab, stab, stab until I find an artery. 🐻 IF I am still alive after this, I feel I have earned the claws, meat, and hide. 🥰 Very few people attend this school and even fewer survive the final exam!🤣🐻
Get a couple of five gallon buckets of used cooking grease from a restaurant (free). Spread generously around bait sites and the bears who visit will be leaving a scent trail when they depart the bait.
@@Wealthyonesecret I don't know of anyone who loves killing, but you have to kill them to eat them, and of course there are important things like conservation, predator control, and a dozen other reasons to hunt bears.
I don’t hunt but I want to feed a bear that crosses the creek in front of my house. But raccoons keep eating the food I put out before the bear comes back. Any suggestions on a feeding station that the raccoons can’t get into! PLEASE
How could you think killing a coyote is fun. It is an animal in an ecosystem that is needed for this earth to thrive. You really like this then is something wrong with you that you need to do this to fulfill something in you. Sad.
@Wealthyonesecret it is fun I shoot probably 3 or 4 a day. They see mu trick and try to to beat me across the road lol they rarely get a crossthe road run the fucks over

Well you have to go to them, you can't bring them in from too far away.
