I want to address three points in the comments: 1st: lack of throttling and real-life tests: unfortunately, as I buy the phones with my own money, I'm always limited to the phones I have for testing. Both throttling and real-life tests would put the larger phones at an advantage. I'll re-run the test in January with Samsung Snapdragon and new Exynos(if it comes out) chipsets, which will be more fair. 2nd: AnTuTu is not comparable across platforms, which is a valid point. Even AnTuTu developers mentioned that on their website. I thought I would exclude that too in the final result or give iPhone 10, but I decided to go this way since the tasks are still the same across both platforms, and there could be some value in comparing GPU and CPU scores. One can also argue that the tasks on Geekbench always give iOS an advantage. 3rd: Xiaomi 15 runs hot. I can confirm this, it was consistently hotter than the other phones, I also heard the Realme has the same issue, which is claimed to be software incompatibility. We will wait to see how the story will unfold.

In the Geekbench test your S24 Exynos got 12% lower result than mine 🤔, even in light mode, my multi-core value is 6200. In energy saver mode its 5800. Btw I have the 256gb version with UFS 4.0 while you have the 128gb with 3.1 I think. I wonder if this effects the export tests in the beginning.
It also says on the screen he beat 73% of the S24 devices. His score is already way better than what most people will see. Yours is just a golden sample.
@JanVerny where do you see this number exactly? I find it a bit hard to believe that die-to-die variation within one model can be 10+ % 🤔. Maybe the faster UFS 4 storage has an effect on the Geekbench although it shouldn't or there simply is some throttling going on.
@@flowqi212 Ah, sorry man, I got it wrong, it says so on the 3DMark bench. Geekbench doesn't track device scores, but I found user results between 5400 and 6500. I do think the variance can be really big between devices.
@JanVerny what I can say for certain is that your score will be much lower if you start the Benchmark right after a stress test etc. and if the battery is low the divce might also be throttling. Geekbench should track battery and device temperature to make this more conclusive somehow. That said I don't really expect any major throttling in Moe's video tbh 🤔

all these chinese brands with the 8 elite don't seem to be performing as I expected in terms of efficiency and thermal management, I would like to see how the s25 series will do
The S25 will perform worst as Samsung limits temperatures, so unless you tweak it, do not expect the SD8G4 to be the killer chip Qualcomm marketing and TH-cam-sponsored reviews suggest. We have seen in multitasking tests that the S24U gets killed by the Pixel 9 Pro due to Samsung's throttling of the temperature.
The problem is that the 8 Elite does not have efficiency cores, Qualcomm is so desperate to overcome Apple that it has totally forgotten the effectiveness, and this will lead to the battery consumption of Android devices on the market that will be equipped with 8 Elite. Mediatek, on the other hand, made a giant leap in both efficiency and performance, I would say it’s a good year for mediatek.

for watching content you must go with Xiaomi because they have the best display tuning along with best speakers. So you should go with Xiaomi for better experience.
Samsung galaxy ultra has ultimately best display on the market, it has antiglare glass and best display. Do not even consider chinese crap like xiaomi or iqoo if you value your system stability, privacy and features.
Vivo has the best camera, Samsung really falls short in comparison. The displays are about the same, Vivo has a 10bit panel while Samsung has the anti reflective screen for outdoor situations
you should wait for the S25U if price is not a barrier, it will have some improvements for the cameras, and still have this top notch anti reflective coating on the panel, which is the best on the market vivo indeed have better photo capabilities overall for sure (especially in low light !), but samsung is i think just better overall furthermore, you could get yourself some of the products in the samsung ecosystem, which is pretty good (one of their laptops, their buds 3 pro which sound very very very good when using a good EQ...) Also, your Applebench scores, sorry Geekbench 🤧 are a bit weird, it's true that the A18 Pro is a little better than the Dimensity 9400 and Snapdragon 8 Elite in single core, but it's never better in multi-core. Regarding the Exynos 2400, Samsung would have just had to reduce the default frequency of the cores a little bit, not necessarily want to have the same benchmark scores as Apple and Qualcomm ( in fact, do like Huawei and Google) and it would have been a very good processor 🤷🏽♂️ And as you said at 7:58, the Tensor G4 in the Pixel 9 Pro should instead compete for the "best mid-range processor", and even then, it won't be on the podium 🤧 🚶🏽♂️ 🚶🏽♂️ 🚶🏽♂️ Ps: Adobe clearly favors iPhones (Apple products), and above all is not the only photo-video editing application, to be really impartial, try another one. Hi, so for the Geekbench you are right, yesterday, when I ran it, A18 Pro got a better score. Today, I got a new update from Xiaomi, and after that, I got 9K for multicore, which was better than A18 Pro.
Try Snapdragon 8 elite on a gaming phone. With superior cooling and maxed out clock speed this will be a beast. Both 9400 ams 8 Elite is powerful I can tell you that but neither have enough time and budget pushed into for the most optimization which A18 pro benefits from. This is why apple chips are the most efficient and powerful.
I can't complain on the Tensor G4. I switched from iPhone 15 Pro. Despite G4 being as powerfull as A14, Pixel runs much better than iPhone 12. Thanks to a huge optimalization and 120 Hz display.
Of course, a phone from 2024 will be smoother than a phone from five years ago-the correct comparison is the iPhone 16 Pro Max versus the similarly priced Pixel 9 Pro XL. For example, compare a Pixel 4 with an iPhone 16 Pro!
@andyH_England As I sad by Benchmarks Pixel 9 Pro is a powerfull as iPhone 12, half powrfull of the phones running Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. I was ONLY able to compare it with my previous iPhone 15 Pro criplet by iOS 18 update.

This test is flawed by the fact that he didn't use the same form factor on all phones. You can't compare chipsets strength via various benchmarks if one phone has a larger screen, making it a larger device, hence having more space for cooling components. Appreciate the effort, nonetheless.

5:04 Antutu is not cross platform comparable...
Loved this video. Can you do a real life performance test video between 9400 and 8 elite. To know things like thermals and battery efficiency of both. I've seen quite a bit of content that Apple's new chip is far below the 8 Elite. I have never used an Apple phone, but I have only seen videos. I want to know if it is good to judge apple chip by this antutu score. Can you make a video of that too
in the latest asus rog lineup i saw that the snapdragon 8 elite had like 10k in multicore (geekbench 6)
Xiaomi 15 has a very large camera pool and is very small, so it is subject to a lot of throttle
thanks for the video. 9400 really improved and now can be compare with iphone chip and snapdragon
Where is 8gen 3?
8 elite >>> 8 gen 3
These are all latest chipsets
@@Dmckdnsmssnsnsnope it's gen 4
@@michalksi2377you are both right but Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is renamed to Snapdragon Elite
Yeah I wanted to see the difference between the two.
A very useful comparison, thanks!
It's better realme GT7 pro than xiaomi 15 pro and it's the same SD elite
Perhaps exynos shud have S23 U as sd 8 gen 3 comrade reference at side just to have some idea if it really doing ok or bad.
honestly exynos didn't even do that bad given it's one generation behind and all these new chipsets pretty much offered 2 generation leaps, as for the 8 Elite it was meh, probably soemthing to do with xiaomi's optimization or soemthing
nice test
Don't hate on me but everytime i was watching 16 pro max videos, all the android fanboy were writting "wait for 8 elit" or "when 8 elite is out apple will be so done". And surprisingly i see no comments like this under this video. All i see is people trying to find excuses and defend the 8 elite. If 18pro would get destroyed there would be like millions of comments saying bye bye apple. So please put some respect on every brands even if you hate some of them

Put tensor against snap 888 and a12, that would be fair
all these chinese brands with the 8 elite don't seem to be performing as I expected in terms of efficiency and thermal management, I would like to see how the s25 series will do
Samsung allways perform worse for some reason, maybe they limit them to keep temperature lower. I dont know.
É só propaganda 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Hi, I'm planning to buy S24 ultra 512gb from dubai for 83,000 and now I can see IQOO 13 or Vivo X200 pro. Camera and display(for watching content ) my only priority. Please suggest the best mobile for my needs. There is no price barrier
for watching content you must go with Xiaomi because they have the best display tuning along with best speakers. So you should go with Xiaomi for better experience.
Samsung galaxy ultra has ultimately best display on the market, it has antiglare glass and best display. Do not even consider chinese crap like xiaomi or iqoo if you value your system stability, privacy and features.
I think the s23 ultra is a better phone than the s24 ultra. The price would also be substantially cheaper. Go for it!
Vivo has the best camera, Samsung really falls short in comparison. The displays are about the same, Vivo has a 10bit panel while Samsung has the anti reflective screen for outdoor situations
you should wait for the S25U if price is not a barrier, it will have some improvements for the cameras, and still have this top notch anti reflective coating on the panel, which is the best on the market
vivo indeed have better photo capabilities overall for sure (especially in low light !), but samsung is i think just better overall
furthermore, you could get yourself some of the products in the samsung ecosystem, which is pretty good (one of their laptops, their buds 3 pro which sound very very very good when using a good EQ...) (obviously, if it doesnt bother you to get "locked" a little bit in the ecosystem)
Since black Friday is approaching, I feel like getting an s24+ because it supports 7 years of updates, but where I live it comes with an exynos so should I get it or should I get a refurbished or used s23 ultra?
if u intend to keep it for more than 3 years, the s24+ would be a good pic, else s23u is better in every way
Take your time to still check for good sellers in your country… ask as many as you can, you’ll definitely still see some that have imported and sells the snapdragon variant… yall should always know this, I see this kind of comment too much
@@cordigunstheobliterator5251but even if there's is a Snapdragon version will it be compatible to work very well in my region?, for example the esim and connection might not be as good as the one that's already available in my region.

@@Franzotm yup that's why I was asking but I don't know why people still buy it, maybe because Samsung is a reliable company and the software and updates are good I guess

Thanks for the review 🙏🏽
On the other hand, Xiaomi is really the last brand to choose to test a new high-end processor.
Also, your Applebench scores, sorry Geekbench 🤧 are a bit weird, it's true that the A18 Pro is a little better than the Dimensity 9400 and Snapdragon 8 Elite in single core, but it's never better in multi-core.
Regarding the Exynos 2400, Samsung would have just had to reduce the default frequency of the cores a little bit, not necessarily want to have the same benchmark scores as Apple and Qualcomm ( in fact, do like Huawei and Google) and it would have been a very good processor 🤷🏽♂️
And as you said at 7:58, the Tensor G4 in the Pixel 9 Pro should instead compete for the "best mid-range processor", and even then, it won't be on the podium 🤧
🚶🏽♂️ 🚶🏽♂️ 🚶🏽♂️
Ps: Adobe clearly favors iPhones (Apple products), and above all is not the only photo-video editing application, to be really impartial, try another one.
And the Tensor G4 😮💨 is supposed to be a processor designed and specialized in Ai, and yet even in this field, it's the last in class, pff 🤦🏽♂️
Hi, so for the Geekbench you are right, yesterday, when I ran it, A18 Pro got a better score. Today, I got a new update from Xiaomi, and after that, I got 9K for multicore, which was better than A18 Pro.
Cope harder.
Please do battery drain test and temperature test with those exact phones! please please please!
Happy, you have the Xiaomi 15 great 😍, wait the comparaison of small phone
@@Patrikch100 I have a Pixel 8 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the iPhone is a far better device for smoothness and scrolling and, more importantly, significantly better RAM management. My Pixel dumps apps out of memory too quickly, which is frustrating-my iPhone keeps them for days.
it doesnt run much better than iPhone 12 lol.

Dimensity won because it was well optimized.
Unisoc?
Try the 8 Elite Chip on the S25 Ultra then we'll see😂
These tests dont show anything they just show how bad or good the phone is cooling down probably not even this
Could you use another app and replace the Adobe Rush? Adobe Rush isn't well optimized for Android, believe me.
Yes, we need a creator to find the best apps for every use and then use that specific app. The problem is that some Android apps are better optimised than on iOS. Adobe Rush is one of the most popular, so probably why it is used.
A18 pro is the clear winner bcoz antutu score of android and iOS are not comparable so cut off these marks , and add marks of battery percentage , A18 pro is the clear winner in terms of battery and overall optimization , this is the harsh and real truth for Android loves😂 , Apple is unbeatable 🔥
Seems like A18 is the best for professional, daily & long term usage.. and you can also play games smoothly in highest graphic even if the benchmark is lower than the rest chip .. but not everyone play games ..
Nice video. Informative.
Why do you pronounce comparison like that though?

After yesterday's software update, even Realme GT 7 Pro gets 3000 single core and 9200 multi-core consistently without heating up.
This test is flawed by the fact that he didn't use the same form factor on all phones. You can't compare chipsets strength via various benchmarks if one phone has a larger screen, making it a larger device, hence having more space for cooling components. Appreciate the effort, nonetheless.
Why tensor is there but no kirin?
