He’s truly a happy and kind dude in person, my only regret when I met him was not paying an extra 20 dollars for a photo, I got my autograph and he added a custom quote (free of charge) but I understand why he couldn’t do a free photo seeing as others in line had tier badges and if I’d of gotten a free photo it wouldn’t of been fair for the others behind me who paid for it. If I ever get an opportunity to meet him again I’m going to go for the photo bundle with three autographs.

You're not alone man. I wasn't a wrestling fan in his era, but have seen plenty of clips and my friend got me into it shortly after. These guys are showmen and incredible at their art, and I absolutely love wrestling to this day. Its a shame that as kids we were just told "its all fake so what are you watching for?" Even if they hadn't put their bodies on the line, the stories were incredible. But these guys destroyed their bodies and pushed through that pain for an amazing show, its crazy to hear he was just willing to submit himself to a chance at going blind for the spectacle. What a legend.

Even if you never watched wrestling you should read his books, they are so good and just show how amazing articulate and authentic he is. (And he wrote them all on yellow legal pads, meaning no ghost writers. He’s just a great human being)

He really, really is. He's one of the most beloved guys for everything he's done in and out of the ring. Foley manned a RAINN online hotline because he believed in the cause and wanted to help people through their worst days; you don't do something like that for the publicity.

The number of serious head injuries this man has sustained and still can be so eloquent and socially comfortable. This is the survivor and thriver of the Golden age. Such a teddy bear, couldn't ask for a better guest for the show. Thanks guys!
