I was a NBC Page during Jason’s time on the cast at SNL. For the season finale, I had to count with a clicker everyone entering Rockefeller Plaza, for the fire Marshall. Most people ignored me as they walked by. What a wholesome episode, what makes his Ted Lasso performance so spectacular is the sheer range of his emotion and acting. The vulnerabilities he's shown in S3 that started in S2 is truly spectacular piece of acting. Wish nothing for the best for him.
I've always loved Jason and this made me love him even more! As a Kansas man, loved how he plugged all the the KS places in this! So proud he remembers where he grew up and does everything he can for the community!
1:24 So relatable 😂 As a Brit who has visited America three times, from East to West coast, I can confidently say everytime I had hot chicken wings, whether they were buffalo or not, it was always in a bar or sports bar surrounded by massive screens 🤣 Such good memories. One thing I do adore about America are their bars and their sports bars, and of course, I do miss their hot buffalo wings 😅😋
I had no idea what Ted Lasso was about until I saw another youtuber review an episode. I started watching it and I got hooked immediately. It's not a sports show so much as it is about personal growth and finding who you are in the world that thinks you are not important. Brilliant script writing on that one.
Love Jason and his work. Seems like a genuinely great dude. Congrats to him on a great run of Ted Lasso, which is coming to an end this week. I don't think anyone else could've done the role justice.
Jason Sudeikis will forever be remembered for saving all of us during the pandemic. Ted Lasso saved me. Now he takes down wings of death like a boss. Well done!
This is my absolute favorite "hot ones". Jason was very real and down to earth and has the best smile! The reason it my favorite is because with the 3 best smiles on camera, excluding Blaine. But the host , the guest , Norm..just the best smiles. The only one missing is Paul Rudd, then it would be my perfect show. It's not often you see the great smile of the host, he has to give that big smile more often. It's a great smile! Thanks for doing this, it's amazing!
This is a very genuine good interview love it! I recently got into Ted Lasso, and am so glad I found this character and actor! Just a balanced good guy. We need more of these kinds of characters in our society today.
"you ever done one of these in the dark?" My God, I love Jason Sudeikis! My new fav episode. I would love to see an extended episode and just listen to these two chat.
I love how Jason is so likable that in so many of his roles, he seems like he’s playing himself which is great he’s been able to do that so long. But man. Ted Lasso has been his TIME to SHINE. As a writer, and also allowing him to flex his acting range. Like it’s to the point where I’ve watched so much Ted Lasso, that when I see classic Jason without the mustache and just his usual goatee, I’m actually jarred now how he made Ted Lasso sooo distinct from his other roles. And I loved him even before Ted Lasso. I loved him on SNL and We’re the Millers. But man, he gave his ALL in Ted Lasso.
The bit at the end where Jason and Sean are just talking after it's wrapped made me REALLY want an accompanying podcast that's happened right after the show 😂 buuut with how y'all shoot multiple a day I get how that would be super hard logistically speaking.

I doubt Jason will ever read this, but I just have to say my absolute thanks to the complete story told by you and the rest of the cast and crew of the show. The level of authenticity in your approach with mental illnesses, the ups and downs in life and Ted's positive approach with others. Absolutely phenomenal and one of the greatest shows for all time. Sad to see the characters for a final time, but not much better ways to end the show. Again thank you.
Maybe the best interviewer ever. So so so good. The guestions, everything. Respect!
Check out Sam Jones Off Camera. He is an amazing interviewer as well.
Love that a fellow KCK alumni looked like a champ on Hot Ones. Also love he gave the right answer for best Brunt Ends. I was sitting there yelling, “You better say Gates!” 😂 He is a huge talent and I loved the fact he is still humble.
He also went back to finish the Da Bomb wing. Who does that? :)
Why do I tear up at any mention of Ted Lasso? What an incredible show.
The most present actor I’ve ever seen. Over and over and over. If you’re accused of phoning it in, study this guy. So strong.
I love Ted Lasso so much and I was already a big fan of Jason from his past movies. This guy, I mean. Him and Paul Rudd, both Kansas boys and both exudes kindness and overall nice, down to earth dudes. I wish it’s not the end of Ted Lasso but if it is, then I don’t mind doing reruns all the time. ❤
last episode EVER next week :( brb crying
I AM NOT READY. If I don’t get a Trent Crimm spin-off, I will be a wreck. And please don’t wait a decade for it to happen, but jfc, the good wife is FINALLY getting an Elsbeth Tascioni show!! Miracles happen!
I've rewatched the first 2 seasons 5x and don't plan on changing a thing for the 3rd
Jason is just a genuine human being. I love that at some point it switches, and it's just a true normal conversation. Shows so much about him
Jason is such a treasure. He should be so proud of Ted Lasso. That show is so rich.
I really want to see a series where Shaun visits the places that make these sauces. First episode would have to be where they make Da Bomb. Be able to see how this show has helped their businesses.
Jason is such a gentleman and going back for the "Da BomB" to finish. My HERO!
I’ve always loved Jason ever since his SNL days. Him and that squad were who I grew up watching with my parents and they made me fall in love with the show. He seems like a genuinely awesome dude and I am so beyond happy seeing him succeed in the way that he has. Loved this
As I'm rewatching ted lasso for the 3rd time, I couldn't be happier to see this guest ❤
the last episode was so good. every episode is good. last episode i thought something was going to happen to his mom.
Jason killed it! No crying, no runny nose, no whining. He’s a rock star 🌟
5:16 Jason getting exited like he’s being quizzed on what a half of a half is so funny 😂
Although Ted Lasso deserves an ending, I will miss it dearly. Last year was a tough year for me, but coming home and watch Ted Lasso helped brighten my day ❤
Jason just clearing those wings like it was nothing wow!
Ted Lasso will forever be one of the greatest shows, and it will be sorely missed.
It feels like KC just creates the most wholesome human beings in America. Paul Rudd and now Jason are top tier Hot ones guests.
I wonder if most Kansas boys are like Clark Kent …
Eastern Kansas in a nutshell. People are super nice to your face, but you never know what they say as soon as you walk away. 😂
this guy is just 100% how everyone should be
I adore him. He has the kindest eyes. And Ted Lasso was the best show with such a good finale
Something about his eyes are so warm! Glad im not the only one that notices this!
Just when I thought I couldn’t respect and adore Jason Sudeikis anymore I do watching this episode! I now have a new favorite episode! He is first class!!!
Thank you Hot Ones!!! Badass questions as usual!! ❤
Great 21 season opening guest! Jason was the Man! Welcome back Hot Ones!
Jason may be one of the coolest guys ever. Thanks for creating and sharing Ted Lasso with the world. Absolutely loved it!
Jason Sudeikis is amazing!!! Been watching Ted Lasso for the past 2 yrs and its an absolutely fantastic TV series. Keep them coming!!!
Now that's how you start a season! ❤ Jason Sudeikis!
Honestly I wish I had a friend like Jason Sudeikis. He just seems like a fun guy to be around
Can't believe I'm catching this 1 minute after release - I saw Jason Sudeikis pop up in my notifications, and INSTANTLY tapped the video! Hot Ones, thank you so much for hosting this awesome legend! 😊
Jason is crushing that flat cap. Also he crushed the wings of death. A legendary performance to be sure.
Jason being open and vulnerable about his take on SNL before being hired.....wow! He just exudes positive energy
He's such a happy guy all the time. I love it.
@systemathematic ...and high AF 🤣
@@systemathematic according to most who know him personally, in real life too! :)
I met Jason and Olivia when they were still together at a party one. They were both very sweet and down-to-earth people. Funny and up for a good time
Sad how it turned out she's so cold!
@@theINQBS She isn’t cold. We don’t know what she’s like.
@@splashmorales1886lol well we know she had an affair while filming her last movie
@@flataffect Dropped her husband and kids like a stone, then got cheated on by said pseudo-fem soyboy...
@@splashmorales1886well she isn't faithful or loyal. We know that. 🤷🏽♀️
Jason taking DA' BOMB at the end again, brought this already awesome episode to another level!
Love Jason and his work. Seems like a genuinely great dude. Congrats to him on a great run of Ted Lasso, which is coming to an end this week. I don't think anyone else could've done the role justice.
Gosh I love Jason Sudeikis so much! From Ted Lasso to all his SNL skits! He's multi-talented and so handsome!
That Owen Wilson impression was SPOT ON 💀
all that was missing was a healthy, drawn-out "wow"
@@stephenm8725 What’s an unhealthy “wow”?
@@lydiaboll2872 good question lol
Both of these guys found lightning in a bottle and are just riding the wave. It's great to see good people have success like this.
I love absolutely everything about this guy.
Hes one of the few celebrities i feel is actually a genuine great, polite guy in real life and not just acting like it on camera. I love him.
Great conversation! I loved yesterday’s episode of Ted Lasso so much! Ted is such a special human and Jason provides the heart of the character. ❤
me too! truly dreading the LAST EPISODE EVER of the show :(
Ted Lasso is one of my favorite shows of all time. I just love it so much
This is a very genuine good interview love it!
He is by far one of my favorite actors right now. Excellent episode as usual.
I'll watch anything with Jason Sudeikis. He is a treasure.
The bit at the end where Jason and Sean are just talking after it's wrapped made me REALLY want an accompanying podcast that's happened right after the show 😂 buuut with how y'all shoot multiple a day I get how that would be super hard logistically speaking.
Jason seems like such a nice guy, someone that would just chat away and genuinely care about what you were saying. He just gives off that vibe.😊
He is just a lovely person. ❤ handled that like a boss. Love Jason.
Jason is the kind of guy that elevates the vibes of any room he is in
