      @@user-he6kt6gj4p I hope the same... but you know what happened before... we got 6 medals in London 2012 and hoped for 12 medals in Rio 2016. But we just got 2 medals in Rio Olympics... hope that doesn't happen again

    A country of our magnitude should aim much higher than 6 medals. For the athletes themselves it is something to be proud of . But our bar should be much higher .

      shoop shoop go there and honestly majority are so poor like there homeless people everywhere literally everywhere and disabled people. Kids also told education matters more than sports. And then many have religious families that are too strict. On top of that government funding and even though Indian food is so tasty it isn't healthy diet. And there's a genetic factor which could be overcome if all those things above changed but they haven't as of yet. Only real states of India that can really produce Athelstan are Punjab, Haryana and maybe the North East states. The rest aren't built athletically

      In 2010 Asian Games Guangzhou cricket T20 was an event.. But Indian BCCI didn't sent their team while other boards had sent their team..
      Indian BCCI was more concerned about club events back then where two IPL teams played in it..
      So it is obvious BCCI just cares about profits through broadcasting rights.. they don't care about India but they manipulate people's emotions in the name of nationalism just to get more popular..
      If Kabbadi was an Olympic sport, India would have won all golds till date..

    The medal accumulated this year is from a range of sports whereas in 2012 we won 4 medals from 2 sports.

      My dad is still addicted to cricket (watches diligently even other countries bilateral series) but I'm disillusioned now. I encourage him to watch other sports as well, especially football.
