This reminds me of when I won my first gold medal. It was a glorious day that never happened.
But one day it will :)
Lol!😙😂😂😂
Running Into Myself, you know you’re sad when the olympics channel itself has to console you.
To be honest you killed me😂😂😂😂
I died dead
Usain Bolt and Michael Philips are true legends, it's surreal to think they have more gold medal than entire countries.
Yea that Micheal Philips is awesome even better then Micheal Phelps..!!loll..!!!
Yeah swimming and running have the most medals you could possibly get. SO many categories for both those sports
@@dksand0135 dude probably got auto corrected.
@@kathypop4 exactly swimming has sooo many events.
You should not say that because some countries have limited resources
Olympic athletes are one of the kind, the most incredible men & women who do not complete for money or fame but for honor and the glory of sport, they represent their country & culture, they're living legends! Respect.
Aryan Zagros they do compete for money and fame... that’s what sport is about
@@lilanjiang1651 ok wow... I get that yes people get money for most of the sports that they do, but is that all of it playing a sport??? Training day after day, night after night just for money and fame?? If they love what they are doing then they will do it, not caring too much about money... They will go through rough and tiring training so they could get better at what they love... Going into the olympics or any sport that is all over the world that can be seen by everyone, if they make one mistake some people out there will take it negatively and just judge them... Will those athletes go through that just for fame?... Sorry for the rant
Alexandra Camacho I agree people start a sport for fun and because they enjoy it. I swim and run for my high school swim/track team as a JV player not because I do it for money and fame but for the feelings of pride and accomplishment. However, competing at THAT level, training 7 days a week definitely has more motivation than pride alone.
@@lilanjiang1651 yeee... Sorry for the rant...
Lilan Jiang Maybe American Athletes, but many German athletes have to work in a day to day job as well because they don’t earn enough
Damn, usain got a world record in his *first* olympic gold
lil b6 Phelps too
He also stopped running the last 10 meters and was slowing down xD. Once in a century athlete.
Richard Gallimore 30 meters
@@xiamfinal571 Nah, looking at the split times for each 10 meter section he went all out for 90 meters. If he had slowed down at 70 his 70-80 and 80-90 meter splits would be slower than his 60-70, but they aren't.
Ee
Usain really held his arms out and patted his chest before finishing and still whipped out a world record
That's incredible. He could have destroyed that record if he continued with the same pace
If Usain was focusing on the race without blowing kisses at the end, his time would be less than 9.68
Less not lesser
@@lukajurcevic9410 yeah, my bad. Thnx
@@localasian 👍
Yeah but that's who he is
@@rushabhpandit1486 yea
Usain was celebrating before he even crossed the finish line😂
SERENA WON HER FIRST GOLD WITH HER SISTER!! how cute
Imagine winning your first Olympic gold side by side with your sister. Venus and Serena were a legendary duo (approx 2:55 )
The way that Nadia grabbed the bars made it look flawless like she was going to miss but didn’t amazing. I remember seeing thorpie winning gold in Sydney first night and later that night the Aussies broke the drought by beating the Americans in the relay 🎸🎸🎸
🗣Venus is a legend too❤
For sure! but the doubles wasn't her first gold, she had already won singles!
@@Olympics owowowowow
@@Olympics she deserved to be included …
@@Olympics So why the heck did you not include it then?
@@Olympics You include Rafa (who doesn´t have as many medals as Venus) but not Venus?
Fun fact for you: when you bite into a gold medal, you'll discover it has a tasty milk chocolate center.
I’ve always said that lol 😂
Yes
Yes it is available in my in just ₹2 🙏
@@factoshala1487 bruh it’s a joke
@@hudaghani2828 I think @facto shala knows its a joke
0:29 i didn't know Zlatan was a swimmer back then
OMG.
LMAO 3:30 WHEN JASON KIDD LOOKS UP THINKING LEBRON POINTING SOMETHING OH GODDDD 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm dead 💀
The fact that Bolt already celebrated before finishing and still set a New World record at that time was just insane.
Well in Micheal Phelps's final it looked that no one was even competing
When I read the title, Olympic legends. 4:48 is who came to my mind
Thank you he was all i came here to see
Allyson felix is underrated
nadal, serena, venus and lebron playing in Olympics? just wow... super star studded
And federer and Kobe
its amazing how usain bolt broke the record in his first time, even when he took about 2 seconds to celebrate
It was his second olympic games. But yeah it was his first gold medal
2:38 they was sneak dissin😁💯
Ja'Mari well when you’re raping your opponents 6-1 5-1 why not haha
We're just gonna forget Venus Williams too? That is so disrespectful.
Especially since she is the most decorated tennis Olympian of all times
Rafa: *wins gold*
Rafa immediately after: it's lying on the floor time
On the ground*
Kind of unfair to call Lebron james an "Olympic" legend when there are so many more athletes who went unmentioned here. Let's be honest, he's an NBA superstar in an extremely stacked country where losing is virtually impossible. It's so stacked that even without Lebron James in every single Olympics he won, USA would've still got the gold. He's an NBA legend, NOT an Olympic legend.
Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, d wade were the Olympic legends, when Lebron was on the Olympic team in 2004 they lost to Argentina
He’s a legend who played in the olympics and he has 2 gold medals
Yet they lost in 2004
I don't understand how having a few gold medals doesn't make you an Olympic legend
@@mnb4414 there are hundreds of athletes with multiple gold medals, they just put Lebron that had a regular participation in both of his medals. They just put him because he is popular. He's a legend in the nba, not the Olympics.
phelps literally watched all others finish, amazing
Bolt is still my favorite olympian ❤️❤️❤️ from 🇵🇭
Winning gold in the sport you love feels. Heartwarming tbh
1:54 I always have the impression that they will knock the bar with their feet.
Me too but I guess they have trained not to for many many times. There is a deduction if their feet hit the low bar on those giant swings.
Nadia Comaneci was just wow, from another planet. One of the top sports legends of all time.
Okay, c’mon. You guys literally just skipped over THE Lin
Dan? How is he not on this list?!?
Tf how could they miss him I was literally watching this for him ☹️
@@bhomchik I know and they didn’t include anyone else either. They just completely forgot about badminton.
Who?
Michael Phelps the GOAT!
No one cares about swimming
@@boominaughty9531 There's been multiple years where it was watched more than track lol
1:05 just amazing😲😲
how are you going to put "Serena Williams" when her first gold was in doubles with Queen Venus.
fix that plz
venus is not a legend thats why lol
Venus had already won a gold earlier in the games! But she is a legend too of course :)
She won 4 gold and 1 silver
@@dfuseidazza6129 Venus is not a legend? You made my day🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@chrisarmelseyibayebek4977 called sarcasm because olympic didnt have her in the video but for some reason 95% of people dont know what sarcasm is these days
Bruh i feel like a champion just watching them
The Williams always looks good together
Susi Susanti. Indonesian female badminton player at 1992.
There is no badminton player here. Not even taufik or lin dan
Usain Bolt
And serena Williams. The BEST 🥂
Nadia Comaneci was amazing omg her strength!
So zlatan is in swimming as well...
But not surprising at all... 😂
0:28 is that you, Zlatan?
Bolt did it in style!
Where is Lin Dan. He won two gold Olympic medals in badminton singles disciple. Every other sport is there but not badminton.
True the awesome LD is missing. But he is not the only missing legend in this video.
Everybody is watching this video to see the greatest in the olympics and I'm over here dancing to the music
El guerrouj? Probably the biggest legend of athletism and his story is inspiring
When you prepare for Olympics
Until you realise
Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake will also be running
You compete for a bronze medal then
I really wanted to add this innnn
Yuzuru Hanyu: “What? I’m first? First? OH MaI gAwDD”
I saw the Williams sisters, and I clicked so fast.
It's hard work
Hidilyn from the Philippines will become a legend as well if she manages to win 2 more olympic.gold.medals in 2024 and 2028, if Weightlifting is still around by 2024 though
VENUS & SERENA GREATEST EVER❤🙏🏻🌌
Where’s Simone Biles?
she has only been in one olympics. She'll be in the video next year ;)
@@agneseditsstuff Lol if they let her do two more then she might even overtake Phelps lol...ridiculous athleticism and flair to go with it..
@@pareshmathew1596 yeah that would be swell... unfotunately it's not likely she'll continue that long... gymnastics is a crazy sport so most people retire after a couple of years because the body can't take it forever
Second oldest behind Mykayla Skinner
@@agneseditsstuff maybe she'll be next Oksana Chusovitina :D
Ian thorpe is a true legend
ion know abt yall but the instrumental in the background fyee🔥🔥🔥. It makes u feel like they legends🙌🏾💪🏿
Legends!
Serena and Venus were a terrific pair
Nadia was a legend 🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️
Bolt first gold medal is a wr
Holy molyy
Thooreq Zamil so was micheal Phelps
for me Usain Bolt is the coolest among all of them!
Should have included Lin Dan in Badminton also....
Waiting for legend Usain Bolt 💪💪💪
WHERE IS:
Larissa Latynina?
Ryoko Tamura?
Tadahiro Nomura?
Paavo Nurmi?
Sawao Kato?
Valentina Vezzali?
Teofilo Stevenson?
Felix Savon?
if Bolt wasnt facing the crowd, i wont be surprise if the world record was even faster than his current WR.
Can you do a winter one of this?
everybody gangstar until usain bolt starting to chase you
Ian Thorpe looking like zlatan ibrahimmovic omg🤣🤣🤣
If there’s one continent/country ready for an apocalypse it’s Australia...They are Avatars
The greatest of all times
RIP Kobe
wonderful video - each of these got to live the dream - and they deserve it
Bolt could leave us a much unbreakable record.
Great video but to heavily focused on the US
It's just cause the US happened to have many of the greats in Olympic sports.
I didn't just mean athletes but also sports in which the US tend to get good at. E.g. no kayaking or rowing
Im from the u.s and I agree. Especially when they put lebron in it.
Very beautiful 😍👍
Where is Kohei uchimura and Simone Biles
Simone has only been to one Olympics she'll be there in Tokyo 🥺
@@eliorakoe5058 Yes but she took 4 gold medals. That's legendary in gymnastics.
Am I the only one who likes the beat in this video
What song this beat go to??!!
Spotted Kobe in there....
Wow, some of those girls on the sidelines were really hating on Nadia crushing them. Lol 😂
Where is Andy Murray - two time Olympic tennis champion 2012 and 2016??
2:39 Williams sisters so cute
This video needs part 2
I don't understand why you choose the Wms' sisters clip to focus only on Serena when it was BOTH of their first gold. Serena won a single's gold as well, you should have choosen that one.
Nadia and Rafa 💙
Svetlana bar routine was SO SHORT
How do you talk about Olympic legends and NOT include Misty May and Kerri Walsh, but put in Lebron James?!
The Williams sisters
The only tennis players that are Olympic gold medalists in both singles and doubles at the same year
Venus Williams 2000
Serena Williams 2012
How come Nero never gets mentioned? He won all the contests he was in in 67 A.D.😱
and who is nero?
Ian Thorpe looks like Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
em 2020, os jogos olímpicos no Japão 🗾 , novos momentos, sera registrada na história dos esportes.
5mins of. Greatness
Ian Thorpe and Lebron James my favorite athletes
Lmao that's Ibrahimovic in the water
Sorry, it a lot of these people are NOT Olympic legends, they are legend besides the Olympic
i wonder what time bolt wouldve got if he didnt celebrate so early
9.6 low to 9.5 high
No Messi, or Neymar in this vid, even tho they both won gold medals and are clearly legends of the olympics and the game of soccer🤨
Usain Bolt🔥🔥
1:22 when i get home from school
Usain Bolt could've won the 2008 100 meters in 9.5 seconds had he not showboated with 10 meters to go.
Probably Like 9.60 but yeah He could have been better
The ultimate home-field advantage
Jason kidd went from winning gold with bron to coaching bron.
now in this list pls add the name of Neeraj Chopra too
You should have included messi too, he is also the legend of his sport.
