Why is he preaching real life stuff like this? They always have. They never tried to follow whatever ‘new’ thing was out there. They have always been what they are.
Back in 1977 I saw Pink Floyd on the animals tour in the world series of Rock in Cleveland best concert of my life. RIP Richard wright great reaction rock on
The lyrics in 'Dark Side of the Moon' are some of the deepest in Rock. You might have been a bit spaced out when you listened to it the first time. You would do well to listen again for the amazing thought-provoking lyrics. Pink Floyd is recognized nearly as much for their lyrics (bars), as they are their music.
You gutta get yourself the lyrics and follow along, its poetry in motion Bro "Pink Floyd" will take to edge, but leaves up to you to leap. In my day it was called "Acid Rock" for a reason. Just get your tickets & climb aboard "Pink Floyd" will take you there. 🤩✌️
Bro, I love listening to Floyd, Beatles, Zep with ya, you should listen to all of Floyds, Piper at the Gates of Dawn, A Saucerful of Secrets, Soundtrack to film "More", Ummagumma, Atom Heart Mother, Obscured by Clouds and the rest. Thanks for cool vids!
I think you should listen to some Rush! It's a great rabbit hole to go down. Lot's of dedicated fans will tune in! I saw Pink Floyd twice in the late 80's, early 90's. Fantastic concerts!!
If you want to go down another rabbit hole, check out Hi Ren by Ren, he is amazing, he can do any genre, he sings, raps like a crazy person, plays guitar, you won't be disappointed, I think he's great and I'm an old woman😁 of course I love Pink Floyd too
Though he isn't there, these lyrics were written by Roger Waters. He wrote most or all the lyrics for their 70s albums and this is off Dark Side of the Moon. You can actually listen to Dark Side of the Moon in it's entirety with the Pulse concert.
It’s TIME to step back to the beginning ,,, “Piper At The Gates Of Dawn”(1967) w/ Syd Barrett instead of Gilmour… AND “A Saucerful Of Secrets” (1968). Syd was the original founder & leader of the band . Syd is who the album “Wish You Were Here “ is about. Both of them are worthy of doing in their entirety. “Ummagumma”(1969) is also another one even if it is a double LP. Minimum you should react to : “Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict” off that album . You desperately need to watch the entire LIVE performance :”Live From Pompeii” (1972) … read up on the history of Pompeii and then realize they pulled this off in a dessert with no power in 1972. How they captured that is beyond me… it’s a real religious experience… Floyd playing to all those ghosts. Great job man ! 🎸🔥😎✌️
Read the lyrics to Time as you listen to it. It's a rabbit hole of its own? Almost all Pink Floyd songs are philosophical and have deeper meaning. Music for your soul and your mind!
Time is a song that takes you from birth to death. The alarms you are born first intro takes you from birth to about 8 years old lyrics take you from 8 to 19 years old the solo takes from 19 through about 40 when the solo changes you are 50 lyric are 50 to about 65 when the song ends and new solo you are about 70 and wish yo could be home but doctor visits and hospital stay prevent you. The magic spell are the prayers over your coffin as they bury You listen to this 5 years form now and you will have a new prospective

Why do you guys always listen to the Pink Floyd versions of these songs? You should remember that most of them (including this one) were written by Roger Waters. He's the true leader of the band. I invite your criticisms of that comment. But in the meantime I encourage you to listen to Roger.
